Ate here at a lunch time in August. Sampled the classic tasting menu and all courses were well executed and very enjoyable. Nothing stood out as excellent or memorable and compared to some 2 stars here in the UK it would probably be more fitting of one star. Would return however would only go for the set lunch as that... My family and I ate here during our southern France holiday in August. We walked from the Old City (which was a mistake for my wife and daughter were in heals - we took a cab back). The service was superior. The atmosphere, romantic and also elegant. The food was excellent: perfectly portioned, unique and incredibly flavorful. The tiny freshwater... More

From the outside, it looks quiet ordinary. Inside is a different matter. Elegantly modern. We had a great room, outside space and beautifully equipped. Even a tea/coffee maker, a rarity in France. The food was excellent. Had the menu with matching wine. A very tasty well balanced meal with well chosen wine. We had the smaller of the two menus... More

The menu is not easy to understand and is not extensive in fact I really struggled as I do not eat fish and am not a massive fan of meat. The staff were perplexed but totally professional and helped me to make my choice. My starter was delicious (mushrooms and poached eggs )I chose the beef as my main course .I have... You will be offered a choice of several preset menus of the chef's latest/most known courses or a limited a la carte menu. So many of these high-end, ultra fussy gourmet restaurants focus too much on presentation instead of the substance of the cuisine. The first course was a selection of bland offerings as hors oeuvres. The other dishes were... More

We visited for dinner with another couple of friends who were also staying in Carcassone. We all had the E95 Classique Fiction menu which was wonderful and considering the number of courses and quality of food was excellent value for a 2 star Michelin restaurant. We tried a couple of bottles of the local Languedoc wine from both Limoux and... More

We have been to Le Parc several times but I recently went back for lunch and found it to be even better than before. We went with friends and 2 of us had the formule do jour. For 39 euros we were served amuse bouche, bread with salt, starters of clams and mussels with truffle flavored potatoe fondant which was... More

We visited Le Parc during our vacations in the Languedoc which we used to sample several starred and unstarred restaurants. Le Parc provided high quality food but in our opinion not always at the 2 star level. One of the signature dishes oyster with beef tartare was interesting but did not quite work for us. Beautiful was the poached egg... More
