very good indeed - smart, modern cooking, inventive and interesting. Elegant modern dining room and terrace. A very pleasing Michelin experience. The business lunch menu is quite a bargain at 30-odd euros, at this level of cooking. Been three times now, and also had the 80-odd euro taster menu at lunch time which is also good value.

We were staying near Carcassonne and asked our host to recommend somewhere for lunch, having visited Le Cite in the morning. He rang and reserved a table for us, and wow! We walked down the hill from the Castle ( though there is parking here which we hadn't realised). We ate on the terrace, beautifully situated, and had a delicious... More

Stayed at the Le Parc Hotel for 4 nights. Booked the jacuzzi suite and was very impressed with the standard of the room, the facilities and the quiet secluded nature of the suite. Room service exceptional and the reception staff were very warm and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant Franck Putelat on 2 occasions. Once for dinner, which was... More

I had visited this restaurant some years ago and enjoyed it. On the return visit for lunch I was very impressed how far they had come. The lunch menu was well considered and the cutlery and tableware excitingly modern. I chose the cabillaud which was cooked to perfection and nicely complimented by some stunning wines. The whole meal was a... More

This was quite simply the most sublime dinner I've eaten in a long term. Exceptional value at €95 for the following courses cooked and presented superbly by very professional staff. 3 inventive canapes , beautiful bread served with incredible olive oil and sea salt. An amuse bouche of vichysoisse , starters including savoury ile flottante on an artichoke custard with... More

If you are in Carcassonne and are luck enough to get a reservation you"ll have a splendid meal. Very sophisticated and delicate combinations of vegetables and fruits.

What a lovely lunch! The walled parking lots belies the cool mod interior and the perfectly poised patio. On a perfectly pretty day, we dined outdoors on the patio under those DWR-type of ingenious tarp umbrellas at the garden's edge. Just on the other side of the hedge, the busy world hummed but we were a world apart! That was... More

I would really like to know how Michelin award their stars, because in my view Le Parc does not even deserve one star, let alone two! We had the wine matched menu and they are very mean with their glasses of wine. The amuse bouche of chilled lettuce soup was completely over salted and their is no excuse for over... More

After having eaten in a few Michelin one stars in the region, we understand the difference now. This was an experience not just a meal as at the others. It was a joy to watch the choreography of the well trained, attentive and friendly staff as the brought each new surprise to us. We were ahead of high season so... More

We had lunch, which offered a less expensive set menu. We came without a reservation and were able to sit inside for lunch and take our coffee and petite fours outside on the lovely patio. The service was excellent and they altered the main course to be vegetarian for me with no problem at all. The bread and olive oil... More
