Atmospheric restaurant, but spoilt by poor service. Did not order an aperitif or a starter. Did order a bottle of wine to go with our meal, but it did not arrive until after our main course had been served! Despite asking twice for it. Apologies given, as well as a complimentary glass of muscat at the end of the meal.... More

Enjoyed a great meal here. A starter of Razor Clams a la plancha was delicious and the main of whole roast pigeon was a real highlight. Very nice surroundings and a friendly family run operation, I will certainly return.

We were a group of four who ate on a Friday night. The restaurant had a lovely ambience and the food was delicious. Scallops, fillet of beef & the chocolate cake was probably the best i'd ever eaten. To top it off as we were the last to be leaving, the owner invited us to stay for a night cap... More

I tried this restaurant because Kate Mosse recommended it. Bit grubby, and full of noisy tourists. Food alright, I chose something safe. But I felt it was expensive for what I got.

We waited an hour and a quarter for our starter, and by that time we had drunk most of our wine and eaten the bread. The food was OK but nothing outstanding when it arrived. We had to ask 3 times when we would be served our meal. Overpriced and overrated.

Four of us had dinner here on a Tuesday evening. The food was delicious - four different meals equally wheel prepared and presented. And a good house wine. The telephone answer phone could be more helpful though. It only stated the days the restaurant is open, and that it does not open for lunches. Doesn't say when it opens in... More

Despite not having a booking, the friendly staff managed to find a table for 6 people and made sure we were well looked after. The waitresses were friendly, helpful and were patient with our basic French! The food was beautiful and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Between the six of us we ordered a variety of dishes and each... More

We had dinner outside in the garden around 9:30. It was a very nice setting. The waiter suggested what to order for my wife and I, and we loved what he suggested. Both of my teenagers are vegetarians, and the waiter went in tot he kitchen to ask the chef what they could serve. The waiter came back with a... More

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in the Cite. We wanted a special dinner and the atmosphere, the food and the service were all aligned to make that happen. The garden was perfect and had a surreal atmosphere with enormous walls sheltering the charming garden from the elements. The trees and hedges also made the garden feel very... More
