I really enjoyed lunch here. I had the 'formule' with a mushroom and cheese crepe from the traditional crepe menu made with dark wheat, a traditional crepe with lemon and a glass of wine. I liked the little bit of outside crunch and the softer inside on these crepes. Tasty tasty tasty...better than anything on offer in the castle.

Found Creperie while looking for a lunch on the way into new town. The two crepes we had were as good as we have had anywhere. Would recommend to anybody wanting a light lunch.

We came across this creperie by chance, wondering around Carcassone centre. All the crepes in the menu are unique and it's quite hard to choose one. I went for the smoked salmon and potatoes one and it was delightful. It also comes with a green salad in a delicious crusty crepe-little-basket so you can eat that too! I can easily... More

We tried this for a light lunch one day. Service was polite and efficient. Both our meals were tasty and nicely presented, especially the salad in a crispy crepe "bowl". Some diners were turned away near closing time at 2pm. They must be very strict with opening hours!

A lovely little restaurant in the centre of the old town. The room was lovely and a nice atmosphere, very helpful and friendly staff (who spoke English). An amazing range of crepes some of which we have never seen before. A lot of reviews say you have to book, maybe we were lucky but we walked right in towards the... More

TripAdvisor was so helpful to us on our trip to Portugal and France. We "got the tip" from contributors about the Creperie Le Ble Noir, which is located on the modern city side of the river, just a short walk across the bridge(s) from the old city and the castle. We arrived early and got a seat immediately, but by... More

Enjoyed our first visit so much we returned a second time, and we were remembered and welcomed as though we were regulars! Crepes delicious - only wish we'd had a chance to try more. Well worth a visit, and if we return to Carcassone we'll be returning to Le Ble Noir!

We had a much anticipated crepe or two here on a rainy evening, it was fully booked, so best make a reservation. The food and cider was excellent, amazingly light but tasty pancakes with an assortment of fillings from the traditional to the totally amazing. The only reason that I cannot give it 5 stars was the slow service -... More
