Gorgeous food, lovely restaurant and a friendly and accommodating owner. Great veggie choice too. You need to book!

TripAdvisor was so helpful to us on our trip to Portugal and France. We "got the tip" from contributors about the Creperie Le Ble Noir, which is located on the modern city side of the river, just a short walk across the bridge(s) from the old city and the castle. We arrived early and got a seat immediately, but by... More

Enjoyed our first visit so much we returned a second time, and we were remembered and welcomed as though we were regulars! Crepes delicious - only wish we'd had a chance to try more. Well worth a visit, and if we return to Carcassone we'll be returning to Le Ble Noir!

We had a much anticipated crepe or two here on a rainy evening, it was fully booked, so best make a reservation. The food and cider was excellent, amazingly light but tasty pancakes with an assortment of fillings from the traditional to the totally amazing. The only reason that I cannot give it 5 stars was the slow service -... More

We loved this place. To be fair the whole family like crepes but without trying to sound like an M & S advert these are not just crepes...they are super crepes! We mostly went for set menus with both savoury and sweet pancakes which was good value. Everything was delicious including the cider. We were so impressed we purchased some... More

Wanted to try this place, as I had seen good reviews. Saturday afternoon was closed, Sunday closed all day - managed to visit on Monday before i returned home. Well worth it; had a superb crepe, with caramelized apples, ice cream, gingerbread, whipped cream and fruit, very friendly service.

We came across this cosy-looking and inviting place as we walked along Rue de Verdun. It was a cold evening and so we decided to stop in for a treat. Best decision of the day! We shared a savoury La Messine (caramelized onions, ham, mushrooms, cream) followed by La Tatin (caramelized apples, vanilla ice cream, cream) as dessert. When the... More

Heard great reviews about this place and it completly lives up to reputation. Ble Noir means Buckwheat, so these are in essence I believe Buckwheat Crêpes. They have an excellently flavour, crispy and very filling. I had one filled with cheese, lardons and potato, served up with a lovely salad in another crêpe. I also had a dry cider on... More

We were looking for a veggie option for the evening and this crèperie fitted the bill. Tasty and well presented galettes and crepes - better than we had in Britanny! A bio beer from Britanny. Good selection of ice cream to go with the sweet crepe. Very filling meal and at about €14 for galette and drinks it was good... More
