Followed Tripadvisor recommendations and we were not disappointed. We had the blue cheese crepes which were lovely, very well presented with salad in a crispy crepe bowl. For dessert we had the creole crepe and crepe suzette. Wide selection of ciders at decent prices. Fantastic! Husband and wife team waiting and cooking. Really friendly and engaging and very good value... More

Had supper here, kids loved the pancakes and crepes, very friendly owner and also enjoys the cider. All in all, a great place for a family supper. Highly recommended!

We visited here on a Friday evening, with no reservation; had we arrived 15 minutes later, we wouldn't have had a table! A great, varied menu of different fillings for the savoury gallettes, some good cider to wash it down with and friendly yet efficient service. My husband had enough room for a sweet crepe too, which he managed to... More

For several years now, my wife and I have made it a point to stop in at Le Ble Noir on our yearly trips to this area. The proprietor has always been welcoming and the cooking has been of a consistently high quality---artfully presented, delicious, and reasonably priced. Recommended without question.

In the new town, away from the heavily-touristed fortress, you will find better and more varied restaurants. If you want something not-too-heavy, try Le Ble Noir. All crepes are made to order, and you can adjust the fillings to suit. The buckwheat crepe was light and flavorful, and the fillings complemented it well. A dessert crepe of bananas may not... More

Four of us visited for lunch on the day we were due to fly back to the UK and it made a really nice end to our four-day trip to Carcassonne. It felt authentically French, the waiter was hilarious and the Normandy cider served in handmade ceramic mugs made it memorable. Ideal for a light lunch.

We had passed this creperie a few times and it was always busy with customers queuing for tables. Early on our last evening there was no queue so we went in and took the last table, by the time we came out the queue was back - this is surely the sign of a good restaurant and it certainly is.... I was really impressed with the food in this restaurant. my friend and I ate there a few days ago while in Carcassonne, we stumbled upon the restaurant and decided to try out some crepes. We both loved the food. I had a crepe with potatoes, cheese, cream, caramelised onions and pancetta...it was amazing, so tasty. My friend loved hers... More

If you are looking for a light lunch in Carcasonne this is the place to be. For a small amount (12.50 Euro Oct 14) you can get 2 pancakes, one savory and a sweet one whit in both cases the possibility of different ingredients to add. This comes together with glass of wine or water. You can also choose for... More
