A tiny restaurant, nice atmosphere with menu written on chalkboard on wall. We visited for dinner on two occasions. Reservations were handled efficiently. On the first occasion the weather was cold and unsettled so there was no outside seating. There was one server who was very pleasant and attentive and seemed knowledgeable about the food and wine; we had a... More

We wandered and wandered and came upon this small, quaint restaurant. The first thing that gave us a very favorable impression was the friendly, attentive staff. The food was excellent. I had one of the best scallop dishes I have ever had. Ordered based on reviews from Trip Advisor. My husband had foie gras with peaches. Truly great.

We had dinner one night during our stay. The cafe is just off the square, tucked on a dead-end street, which makes dining very quiet. The husband (chef) and wife (front of the house) team were excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed both the food and the conversation with neighbors at other tables - Australians and an English couple from... More

We ate at La Roulotte, discovering it by chance, walking in the city center. Except for the gazpacho, the dishes were astounding. A mix of French, Arab and Spanish cuisines. Each dish seemed to have several flavors in it and each spoonful brought up a slightly or quite different mix of flavors. Each mouthful, a pleasant to incredible surprise. For... More

Have eaten at this restaurant 3 times, excellent each time.my husband loves their foie gras and fig salad.I loved their tataki tuna salad with the beautiful vinaigrette .the veal was as tender as you could wish. The scallops are large and sweet.wine is by glass,1/2 carafe or bottle and well priced and good quality.Service is with a smile, even if you can't... More

Stumbled on the place for lunch one afternoon. It's just off the main square in the old town. The food was exceptional. I was overwhelmed by the unusual flavours. We shared a starter of soft cheese (like mozerella) with crisp veg in a bazil and rocket soup. Truely stunning starter. I had a prawn curry with rice for main and... More

This is a very quint, small place on a quiet street near the main square in Carcassonne. Eight of us arrived for a meal before a concert at one of the beautiful churches in this nice town. We could not have been more pleased. The offering are few and are outlined on a large chalk board on the wall. (You... More

Down a side street off the Place Carnot, this is a restaurant you could easily miss.... But don't! Found it on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We will be back! The food was unusual without being exotic and the atmosphere warm and French. Service was delightful. Living a couple of hours from Carcassonne we have eaten out there a... More

Stumbled accross this place one afternoon just as it was opening, it looks nothing from the ouside when closed but one look inside made us want to eat there later. I am glad we did, the food was superb and matched by the service. They only have a few dishes on the menu but there is something for every taste.... More

We dined twice in this amazing restaurant and it was by far the BEST food in Carcassonne. The Hake and duck were delicious. There are many average restaurants nearby but the food and the service here is second to none !!
