Overnight and a Dinner...Oh Yeah!!

With only 2 rooms an overnight here might be tough to arrange but within the ancient walls but if staying within the walls this is a must stop. With Fair prices, excellent personal service, great meals and accommodations.....You have the ingredients for a must do in France!! I know We'll return!!

Visited here in October, and was highly recommended by our landlord. Food was good, but service was a bit pretentious. We could clearly see the restaurant was more than half empty, but we were kept waiting for 10 minutes before being shown a table as we hadn't booked. Once seated, everything was good, food excellent, wine choice impressive, serving staff... More

This is a lovely traditional restaurant right in the heart of Carcassonne Cite. Service is great and the food is great. Cassoulet was fantastic and desserts amazing.

A group of 8 of us wanted to have a good meal out at the end of our holiday. The menu looked great and we were ready for an evening of fine dining. For such an expensive restaurant, we were disappointed at the service. A couple of orders were wrong. The waiters had to ask at the table 'who ordered... More

We had lunch at this restaurant which was recommended to us. About €70 for the two of us. The food was definitely tasty but the service wasn't great. We were greeted by a very grump man to start with and after asking for a table outside we had a rude response and told 'no tables outside'. To be fair it... More

Right out in the courtyard under the stars--well the parasols. Lots of quaint ambiance. Truly, the cassoulet was perfect. Cassoulet is served all over Carcassonne as it is the local cuisine. Not not all are created equal. This place nailed it. Good service. Attentive and efficient.

A lovely setting for a very good meal with equally good wine. My cassoulette was superior. Only slow and distracted service detracted from our enjoyment.

I was sent to this place by a very friendly girl at a souvenir shop. I always try and ask the locals where do they like to eat and sometimes it is a hit some others a miss. This time was a BIG HIT! The food is delicious and the service was great!

The 19 euro 3 course lunch menu, which included a very good cassoulet, was excellent value, with large servings presented in an imaginative manner. Wine can be bought by the glass. While the service wasn't fast (there was a large tour group eating inside at the same time as we were in the courtyard), it was certainly friendly enough, and... More

We learned that the 'Forumle' in the castle is more miss than hit. The 20 euro menu has regular items and plat du jour for each course also. My wife had the gazpacho starter from play du jour - very nice, I had the Saumon gravelax - very nice. For mains my wife had an awful entrecote steak ( 2nd... More
