We had 2 Plateau Merlot, and it was a wonderful experience of flavours, clean, tasty and varied. Samples or tapas, followed by plat du jour which was cod cannelloni...don't be put off by my description....4 other people came out glassy eyed ( and not from wine), such was the taste sensation!! I am still savouring the last glass of wine I had at this place. I really loved the decor and the concept, as it is modern but with traditional quality. The staff work very hard as the place is quite busy. There are some set menus of tapas with a main and quite a few choices for vegetarians like me...... More

Our stomachs guided us here because earlier in the day we had browsed the shop next door of the same name and family which stocks a fabulous range of french ingredients and foods and wines. We assumed the same suppliers would fill the tables of the restaurant - and we were right. The food was fabulous. We eat from the... More

We stayed in Carcassonne for three days and, after the obligatory day spent in the crowds at the medieval city, we went into the 'new' town to discover what life is really like in a pleasant town in the South-West of France. We stumbled on this bistro one day and were so impressed, we went back the next day for... More

Arrived off the TGV at 11am exhausted after a 4am start. Went for a strong coffee to Cote Ferme, a 10 minute walk from the station, it came highly recommended by a friend who had recently visited. The two of us had coffee then stayed for lunch we ordered la boîte of which there is a choice according to price.... More

This restaurant is linked to the adjoining shop which, although closed by the time we arrived, looked to have a fantastic range of cheeses, foodstuff and wines. We therefore were able to 'pick and mix' and try quite a few different Languedoc wines. Definitely worth regular, repeat visits!!

I was a little dubious about the glass platter with the metal galosh however what an excellent choice. The four "starter" samples were all great as was the cassoulet and the cheeses. This is a great restaurant just away from the main square.

Visited the wonderful La Ferme shop and on leaving discovered their restaurant next door. A super pleasant and helpful waiter explained their ' box' concept whereby one is served a selection of cheeses and pates with a main course for a fixed price of either 17 or 22 Euros. We chose the latter, my husband chose pork while I chose... More

Came here on last day of my visit on recommendation . It was a set menu the food was terrific and so was the service. There is also a shop next door with a fantastic selection of food , cheese , wine and kitchenware that would give John Lewis a run for their money. Staff were excellent , very ,very... More

As others have said, good quality food served in an unusual style. There is plenty of seating inside and a few tables outside up on a terrace. We had a range of tapas style starters and cassoulet, all very good. Friendly staff.
