On the top floor of the hotel, the restaurant has a direct view on the fortified town, which is very impressive at night. However, the food was mediocre, and service inadequate. My cassoulet took some time to arrive, and when I gently asked when it would be delivered, was told that "good cassoulet needs time". But when it arrived, it... More

Since we were staying at the hotel, it made sense to eat dinner here after a long day of driving and sight seeing. The friendly server complimented my husband on his efforts to speak French. We had a very nice view by the big window. We both ordered Cassoulet with confit de canard. The place was quite full. Perhaps this... More

Able to see Medieval city whilst eating. Food very good. Service was good or bad depending upon when you went. Try not to go at busy times.

Great panoramic view from this top floor restaurant. We asked for veggie meal first night at this hotel but their one veggie dish was off the menu that night. We went back again for our last night and the same veggie dish was back on - a bland veggie tarte tatin with salad smothered in balsamic vinegar. The desserts were... More

It's not unusual for restaurants with a great view--and this one has one--to fail on the food end of things. Not true here. Food was quite good by US standards. Pretty plates. Service better than most restaurants and auberges we've been at. Not inexpensive. $28 E didn't include the drinks.

Lets get one thing straight the view of the cite from this fourth floor restaurant is amazing. We booked and had a table right by the window. However that is almost the last positive thing I can say about this restaurant. The decor is tired, the service stretched (I took to filling our wine glasses myself - not a big... More

We have spent the last two years enjoying the Bastille evening and fireworks at Le Quai at some expense, but this year was an absolute disaster. We were literally crushed into the seating area which made it unsafe. Others on our table were made to look ridiculous as they could not even get into their seats. The food was a disgrace... More

The location could not be better, nor could the tranquility and service. Prices of the main courses and wine were quite reasonable

Yes, the surroundings are great, but even they begin to seem ugly, when you spend a day in this restaurant. This is how it went in our case: we chose this restaurant for lunch because of the views it offered and because the restaurant itself seemed decent - not a complete tourist trap. We arrived at Noon and we were... More

Recommend you book as the restaurant was small and lots of people who hadn't booked were being turned away. The menu was varied, everything from snails to steaks and we enjoyed everything. The staff were very attentive and even accomodated by bien cuit meat. It was a nice change to the very crowded medeival city. Only negative was the slow... More
