We forgot something important before coming here: to polish our shoes. The waitress who opened the door for us looked at our jeans and dirty shoes as if we were something the cat had dragged in. But we somehow felt that she forgave us when she realized that we were seriously interested in the food. We chose this restaurant because... More

We booked a table for 7 on 28th December 2013. The truffle gratin of noodles was tasteless, served like in the school with burned surface, the scallops were without any taste or even sauce and the vegetables were only boiled, the Cassoulet is too liquid, the content is very poor and the gratin surface almost inexistent. the service is dreadful.... A good friend recommended this restaurant to us and we were excited to have a lovely dinner there. The starter was just fine but in the main course we found a 20 cm long black and white hair. Politely we mentioned it to the waitress hoping for a simple apology. However the French arrogance of the chef reminded us that... More

I dined with a carnivorous friend, she loved her Duck confit in a Tagine, my Quinoa Galette with summer vegetables was ok, but lacking in punch. Desserts were an ok Creme Brulee saved by the addition of lavendar sugar and a very lack lustre Raspberry Millefeuille with tasteless fillng and a burnt bottom. It is very over priced and the... This restaurant makes a welcome change from the huge monotony of tourist fare in Carcassonne. The food was fresh and whoelsome, the atmosphere private and understated and homely. The portions just right (although not of Texan proportions but then not many places are). The wines are individual and offer a variety rarely found at the price - the white Corbiere... More

It is a nice place, wonderful food, organic, fresh. Unfortunately it is slightly overpriced, easily going up to 60 euros a person. Not a place to go to with children, no children's food. A good experience though!

Reading some glowing reviews on Tripadvisor about "imaginative, fresh fare ..." we were completely disappointed to have " brownish" ( just brown meat and brown carb), no specks of green or red or whatever) color, without any flavor , just re-heated from day or week before dishes. I was physically sick after eating in this restaurant, not mentioning that it... More

I do not know where the other people ate but I went to this restaurant for my birthday and was extremely disappointed. The owners wife was delightful but EVERYTHING else was a disappointment. The spinach salad had a good clean dressing but it was just a pile of leaves. Totally unimaginative. I also has the scallops (which were not as... More

My husband and I have been twice this year to sample Robert Rodriquez' wonderful fare. We definitely plan on going back again the next time we are in Carcassone. His restaurant is a very personal place. You are buzzed in to this small locale and walk past his kitchen as you are guided to the dining area, so you can... More

Stopped in at 7:45p on our way back from La Cite. Dining room was completely empty (not sure why). We ordered a salad and the rotisserie chicken to split. Both were divine. The salad was freshly picked from the owner's garden; the dressing and herbs were perfect. The chicken was beautifully present, moist, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were big... More
