It's a romantic restaurant but I went there especially to have cassoulet which is famous in Sud-West. They called it cassoulet maison(house) which could be any style. Had better in Paris and wanted more where cassoulet is famous. White beans were good but all meat including sausage was not tasty.

Had a lovely anniversary dinner with my wife here, set inside the medieval city, the food was good, service was good and we would certainly like to return in the near future.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant based on the positive Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed! Excellent service, the waitress was amazing and it was very busy when we visited! Food was very good value for money we chose the €16 / 3 course menu, Goat cheese salad for starter was delicious, first time trying the... More

Dining in the Old City has its risks as it is largely a tourist ripoff, but our hotel recommended Adelaide and we had gotten back from the mountains late and tired - so we went expecting the worst. It actually turned out quite nicely. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the people were quite charming. My wife ventured for cassoulet,... More

I saw the good reviews when researching my trip, and this was one of the restaurants my hotel recommended (Hotel Pont Vieux, very nice also). My first visit was on a Sunday evening, 7PM, they have two rooms of seating inside, and a large area outside. The place is very well staffed, with young, friendly, English speaking wait staff. I... Great location and food.....just have an apero at the bar and let Jean Marc find a great table for you. We really enjoyed the food and as someone else said - He does a great job in the selection of local Minervois and Corbieres wines. Its a bit hard to find - but you'll find out parts of the cite... This restaurant is situated within the Citadel. We had dinner there on 3 nights, the third admittedly due to the very inclement weather as it was relatively close to us. However, obviously we were very happy with it. Selecting from the A La Carte menu each night, we found the food very good .The service was very friendly and helpful.... More

16 euro menu, excellent value and service. One of the few restaurants open in Carcassonne at the end of Nov. Creme, brûlée as good as my French neighbour makes,, as for the wine who needs a bottle when a 50 cl pichet is 7euros.

This restaurant is located within the city walls, but in a quiet location overlooking the city walls and ramparts. While the cassoulet was excellent, we were a little disappointed by some of the other food. It might have been our choice, but generally we have had better food elsewhere.
