We had the lunch menu and it was a huge disapointment. Totally waste of money and time. Starter salad was tiny and nothing special, but the worst experience was the main course. Duck leg and french fries and that’s it. Nothing extra. No sauce, no green garnish, no nothing. Dessert was few thin slices of pineapple. Service was okay, didn't... More

hidden away, just off the main tourist area sits 3 restaurants. this one took us in with the appeal of tapas, it did not let us down. if anything, there was too much food. the service was simple, friendly. the food was fantastic. and the view of the citadel complimented the food so well. I would recommend the salmon platter... More

Chose this place because tapas were cheap and the view was stunning. Laid back restaurant/bar, with friendly young staff. Atmosphere was really good as was the plancha of charcuterie. Loved the liver saucisson! Quality of food was excellent.

We spent two days in Carcassonne visiting the medieval city we decided to have lunch at this restaurant we wanted to taste the "home made cassoulet" we were so disapointed, moreover very bad service!!!! Therefore, we will not recommend This place according to us the worse one in the whole city.

I never like to leave a "terrible" review for any small business but sorry, this deserved it. Salad terrible, main dish cold despite waiting an hour between courses and service staff obviously stressed yet the place was not even half full..... shame, hope it improves.

Ate here because we wanted something light and weren't disappointed. Lovey tapas, especially the Gambas, good service and comfy sofas with a great view of the castle. We also liked that it was away from the main square and had some character.

I did not have very high expectations of this restaurant, especially given the fact that we decided on the 12 euro menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. The starter tart and salad was small but tasty and the main of duck confit and fries was really nice. The dessert of fromage blanc was simple but good. The view of the... More

While canal botaing along the Canal du Midi, we stopped a day in Carcassonne and had our evening meal in this restaurant. We'd been recommended to go to another nearby, but it was closed that day, so on spec we chose le Creneau, and were not dissapointed. We wanted to try Cassoulet, a specialty dish of this area, and they... More

This restaurant is opposite the Adelaide which we'd eaten at a few days earlier. Whilst the Adelaide was very good, this place is anything but. Amateurish but not unfriendly service, but the food was awful. I couldn't eat the cassoulet. My wife's duck and fries was poor. And we couldn't eat the bread it was so dry. The wine was... More

We ate at this restaurant last week and did what you are supposed never to do eat, in an empty place. Why this place wasn't packed I'll never now. The menu du jour was great value at 12 euros for 3 courses with a choice of two items for every course. Everything was homemade even the frites which tasted lovely.... More
