We were lucky enough to enjoy a meal at this excellent restaurant last weekend. The hotel reception recommended several in the same market square and we chose La Marée where the seafood and fish was outstanding. The service was very professional and welcoming and all in all it was a super evening !

Right next to the fish stalls of the market, the fish was excellent, ultra fresh and perfectly cooked. The menu is not too long, usually a sign of quality and freshness, all the more so if you go for the day's specials. The decor is OK, subdued maritime orientated. Service was agreeable but the bill was just slightly too salty.

The restaurant was recommended as the best sea food in Versailles and it did not disappoint, we did not try any other and had dinner here twice. Seafood

Good, but not exceptional. Nice service, evening sun shines to the front of the restaurant. A bit pricy. They were mingy with langoustines in entrees "Langouistines pochees au bouillon" and "Salade langouistines poelees". Winy Givry Blanc 2000 was a good recommendation, rich in taste, good even with their assiette de fromages.
