We booked a table here after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. The fish was superb - they make a point of stating that it is 'sauvage' i.e. not factory farmed - and the presentation stunning - it brings a smile! We had the scallops starter followed by turbot and barbue - both excellent and perectly cooked. The cafe... More

We had driven up from our house near Toulouse and wanted a nice evening meal before heading up to the Channel Tunnel the next day . Restaurant was perfect in every way . We ate early so were the only guests at the start but it still had a nice atmosphere . The Gambas starter was exquisite , main course... More

Excellent sea food in this charming little restaurant. What a delight it was making this discovery. An honest cuisine with fresh products and an excellent chef add up to a superior experience. The restaurant is small, so reservations are highly recommended. When packed service can be slow, but the delicious meal makes up for the wait. Good things come in... More

We reserved a table at 2030 on a Thursday evening and had a wonderful and culinarily exciting evening. This is the place where fish is as fish needs to be. Price wise a bit elevated, but 100% you get the quality you pay for. As it is a small restaurant, you are very appreciated as customer and you can eat... More

We booked a table here before we left the UK and were very pleased that we did. Food was beautifully prepared and the service was friendly and attentive. I can imagine how lovely it must be sitting outside during spring and summer, but there was something rather warm and cosy about the place on a cold December night that made... More

Small, charming old-fashioned fish restaurant. Fantastic quality of the products that are very well prepared. Friendly service. Perfect for romance.

Simply one of the best restaurant I have ever tried. Very intimate (around 6-8 tables), it's compulsory to reserve, but it's absolutely worth. Fresh fish, cooked in a simply delicious way. To recommend.

I'm so happy I read about this restaurant here at TripAdvisor, as we travelled to Versailles by train from Paris on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 and wanted to have dinner in the area. La Perle de Saint-Louis is in the older neighborhood to the left of the train station (as you depart the station, whereas the Chateau de Versailles is... More

This place not only does some seriously good fish, but it's also displayed wonderfully on the plates! Although due to the price this is something I'd consider for special ocassions, the food was outstanding and I didn't have any issues with the service. If you're looking for somewhere cosy on a summer's evening and you're a fan of fish, this... More

Firstly, I have to say the food was excellent in terms of product quality, preparation, and presentation. Relative to pricing (75 euros for one appetizer, two entrées, and a bottle of water), I was entirely satisfied in this respect. That being said, the service fell quite short of our expectations. On a rather cold evening, we were effectively forgotten on... More
