This dinner represented my husband's and my "splurge" dinner while in France. No disappointment. My scallops were perfect and my husband's fish proved equally good. The recommended wine was delicious. Reservations are recommended and we reserved about two days prior to our arrival. Our bill ran about $350 USD but it was a special dinner. All the desserts looked fantastic... More

L’Angelique, a series of wooden ceilinged rooms with wooden floors, set in a modest brick building, is everything a good restaurant should be. Attentive (but not overly) knowledgeable staff, a focussed menu and an extensive wine list work well in these subtly under-stated surroundings. Four of us took the prix fixe menu at €53. Starters were crab claw meat on... More

Although weighing in at a hefty 250 euros for two, the tasting menu with 5 glasses of paired wine was a rare treat. Friendly and attentive staff combined with a faultless meal makes 250 euros seem money well spent

We went to this restaurant for our classmate birthday dinner. He preselected menu with foie gras for starter and beef for main course. Restaurant has a rich selection of wine (no wonder - we are in France). Service was very good and attentive. The place looked a bit upscale. It was full on Thursday night and people were well dressed.... More

This is a very fancy restaurant and we were very underdressed for it, but the staff could not have been more gracious. The menu is a bit limited, but everything we had was delicious. Parking is a nightmare-I would say park at the Chateau parking lot and walk to the restaurant.

We got a reccomendation by the concierge of the Trianon Palace hotel and chose to visit this restaurant on a Friday evening. First to say the restaurant has two floors. So tables are upstairs and downstais directly at the entrance. When you book make sure that you get a table upstairs since it has much more charm than downstairs. I... More

This is an excellent restaurant - a real pleasure to visit. Great value for money - EUR 200 for two persons including champagne, an excellent bottle of wine and desert. Will definitely come back. All dishes are great and beautifully presented.

This is truly a gastronomic experience. We were a group of four, and although we would have preferred to be seated in the first floor, where the decor and ambiance are superb, the quality of the food served, the delicacy and mastery of the preparation of each dish are out of the ordinary. Simply the best in Versailles, by far.... More

Visited my son who works as a chef in Versailles and he said he had wanted to try L'angelique for some time. It was aTuesday night and not particularly busy. We were offered the cocktail menu to start with and I ordered a gin martini - shouldn't be too much trouble at such a fine establishment. It seemed to perplex... More
