Nice but lacking in several areas

My wife and I attended a wedding at the property and were treated to after ceremony hors d'oeuvre's and dinner at Gordon Ramsey. My wife and I went to Gordon Ramsay on our 43rd wedding anniversary. The restaurant itself was dazzling. The service was friendly, not at all like one would expect in a fancy French place. We were wanting a particular wine and they had it. The food was also wonderful and just as creative as expected. This restaurant should not be... More

The greeting / welcome is aloof. But once you get inside, and are seated, service leaves nothing to be desired. We enjoyed the food immensely. Service was excellent. Presentation was pure entertainment. We were treating this as a 25th anniversary treat, and I can only envy people who eat like this on a regular basis!!!

Stayed at Trianon 2 nights while touring Versailles and dined here both evenings as it was raining and nasty. Convenience was as much a factor in our choice as we usually prefer local restaurants rather than hotel venues. I have to give it to Gordon Ramsey, this venue was spectacular---from the service to the apps, salads and mains. Everything was... More

I had become a cynic about Michelin stars after a disappointment in Leith. Not now, we were simply blown away last night at Gordon Ramsay How do they cook that beef? Never had fois like it. Canopies and amuse bouche that had us laughing and gasping. Brilliant kitchen and front of house. Is it value for money? It's really expensive,... More

Staying at the Waldorf at Versailles was a treat. Eating at Gordon Ramsey's place was just as exciting. Fresh and delicious soup, salad and my veal was out of this world. Great wine too. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

i Admit i was sceptic before to try Gordon Ramsay table in Versailles. I had some good souvenirs of 'trois marches' restaurant and was just afraid that the name Gordon Ramsay is used there to attract international tourists visiting Versailles and staying or not at hotel Trianon. But that s not the case. I live in Versailles since 2002 and... More

I was there on a business dinner. Food was fantastic. I would give 6 stars if possible. 2 stars Michelen well deserved. The Black Angus was probably the best but all dishes were really really good. Service was impeccable. I had Amuse Bouche, Foie Gras from Perigord, Raviolo of langoustine and lobster, Carpaccio of scallops, Braised turbot, Black Augus, Yuzu... More

My daughter and I ate at Gordon Ramsay on our final night of a fabulous trip around France. Trianon Palace was a little disappointing overall but the meal was the best of our vacation. The service was exemplary, the staff were friendly, and patient with my limited French, attentive to our needs and knowledgeable of the food and wine. The... More
