This is truly a charming french restaurant, located just off the Chateau. It was indeed a great find in Versailles. The menu is excellent, as is the wine list. Delicious French food, with a twist: in the menu they have an interpretation of the hamburger, which is really good ( forget about huge hamburgers, the serving is 2 small bites,... More

I can't tell uou exaclty why but the food was light and tasty and sitting in the street watching the world go by was marvelous. Liked this place a lot. Food really did taste homemade.

We are Americans living in Paris and found this place walking near the Chateau one day. The atmosphere caught our attention so we returned another evening for a meal and it did not disappoint. Food was wonderfully prepared and the desserts were amazing. Service was great. We will return!

Stopped in for lunch and had an amazing French meal. Been in Paris for a few days and this is our first notable dining experience. Highly recommend this little hidden spot

We were celebrating with friends and were very impressed. Great staff - very helpful with good English. The food was really good - we had a three course meal plus aperitif, half bottle of wine for a very reasonable price. They were happy to call a taxi for us, and even rang the taxi to alert us to having left... More

We stayed with friends hear Versailles, and booked an evening meal at Le St Julien, using the Tripadvisor website - easily done. When we arrived they were ready for us and had noted the special exceptions we had noted. The meal was first rate, and they even phoned the driver of our taxi, when they realised we had left a... There were three of us, stopping in for lunch at Le Saint Julien. What a great find. The restaurant is located in a quaint area at the end of a side street right near the Chateau Versailles. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and informed immediately about the... More

No question. This is a very nice restaurant with good food and a nice ambience. However, reading some of the reviews we thought this would be an extraordinary find. It is very close to the entrance of the Chateau and it's fun finding it. The waiters were obviously having a little bit of a fight, but they didn't let it... More

Wow. This was a true find right next to the Versailles palace. The food is really good and you will feel as if you are taken back into the time of the original inhabitants of the palace, before the revolution. The selection is good with a wide range of French wines on offer. Try the ravioli with the French twist... More
