Love the galettes!

The buckwheat galettes are incredible. I tried one in house one day, and then got a galette to go the next day. Both were amazing! They even have a cute specialty shop attached (next door). I bought Bordier yogurt, cheese, and butter and it was amazing.

Nice waiter, but can't quite understand why the queue was out the door here.. The crêpes were good, but nothing exceptional. And, as is so often sadly the case in such places which become very popular, a certain arrogance and complacency creeps into the service... Had that not been the case I would have been happy to rate this four... More

I wish I had found this cafe when it opened eight years ago. The crepes served here are the best I've eaten in the city. A friend, who was born and raised in Brittany, joined me for lunch here today and she was also impressed. Though she said the crepes did not equal what her grandmother used to make, she... More

Searched for this cafe after reading some great reviews. There was a Q outside to get in but it moved quickly and it was worth the wait. Two of us are coeliacs so we opted for the buckwheat crepes which were delicious.

Is very hard to find a seat however if you're lucky to find a place the crêpes are really good. However the staff is extremely rude. One day we went for a quick crêpe and sit in 3 people on a super small table, one person was not eating and the owner said we should all order something, so when... More

We arrived on a Friday morning with no reservation. After being left hanging for a while with no greeting we tried to sit down at one of the many empty tables only to be shooed back into the bar area on a high stool, which we didn't mind. The service was fine, but you did get the impression they thought... More

Loved, loved, loved this place. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and lucked out as a window table opened promptly. A huge selection of Breton ciders- we picked a bottle and enjoyed it with our meal. Over 20 choices of galettes (plus several specials), the same with dessert crepes. My main course had potato, smoked fish, fish roe, and creme... More

Our first galette and we like it. There are several alternatives, they aren't cheap (8€ for a "classic" galette, at least) but try it. Pay attention to the queue, we waited about 20 minutes on Sunday afternoon.

The food and service here was excellent - we were told they did some of the best crepes/galettes in the city, and we weren't disappointed. The only real downside was having to wait outside for a while as they were so busy, and then there wasn't a huge amount of space when we got in, but the meals were excellent,... More

We came here after wandering into the Marais district after visiting Notre Dame Cathedral. It was about 6pm on a weekend, however the place was already packed and we had to queue for 10 minutes before a table was free. We both ordered a crepe, which are available with different toppings, in the 4-7 Euro price range. Mine was tasty... More

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
