Great cheap food

Have been a few times. Every time we have sat in the store area and the service has been very nice. The galettes are always well cooked- crispy on the outside and eggs with runny centers. The only thing I would say is that the carry out isn't as good because the galette gets soggy and the egg is... read more

Learnt from the web and my friends about this 'famous' crepe place and went there for dinner. The first time we got there at around eight on a weekday, we have no booking, there were plenty of empty tables but the young waiter refused to give us a seat and simply said they are fully book. So we make a... More

This restaurant is located @ Le marais, you need reservations to go there ideally but you can only call early in the morning and on the same day otherwise you have to make a line an wait to be served. We couldn't get reservations as they never answered the phone however we stood in line for about 30 minutes and... More

A local friend recommended a visit here and we went on a Saturday morning - got there too early and had to shop (what a shame) until they opened at 1130am. Surrounding shops are gorgeous, even if only window-shopping. We were a bit worried when we came back to find that people were queuing and also that they seemed to... More

We went tonight and enjoyed a very good meal, with crêpes that we all enjoyed. Would recommend highly!

You haven't tasted what a crepe should taste like until you have tasted crepes in Breizh Cafe. I am actually not a big fan of crepes before I had a serving in this cafe. It was recommended by my friend who frequents Breizh whenever he goes to Paris. I had very little expectations because I thought it is just crepe... More

I went a few days ago for the first of what will probably be many return trips. It had been recommended to me by a friend who lives in Paris and I also saw it on trip advisor and Paris by mouth. And the friend I went with also knew it's reputation and had been already. It lived up to... More

The buckwheat galettes are incredible. I tried one in house one day, and then got a galette to go the next day. Both were amazing! They even have a cute specialty shop attached (next door). I bought Bordier yogurt, cheese, and butter and it was amazing.

Nice waiter, but can't quite understand why the queue was out the door here.. The crêpes were good, but nothing exceptional. And, as is so often sadly the case in such places which become very popular, a certain arrogance and complacency creeps into the service... Had that not been the case I would have been happy to rate this four... More

I wish I had found this cafe when it opened eight years ago. The crepes served here are the best I've eaten in the city. A friend, who was born and raised in Brittany, joined me for lunch here today and she was also impressed. Though she said the crepes did not equal what her grandmother used to make, she... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
