Good but too pretentious

Very good cuisine Disappointing deco (looks like a diner) Never saw the chef but heard 10 times about him Average service (and I'm French, we're used to crap ...) Feels very very stingy ... Pay extra for wasabi (very good wasabi though) For 150€ per person (recommended menu is 170per person without... read more

Finally a real sushi restaurant that is run by Japanese people. Highly recommend their bento, which is a selection of freshly made sushi and sashimi at an affordable price of 25€. The Chef really thinks outside and box and creates great sushi combos! They even make their own wasabi and it tastes exceptionally fresh and natural unlike the ready-made wasabi... More

Ten years ago, he had something to show, then his demonstrations were terrific... Today, it's just a marketing derivative from French merchandising, illustrating the dark side of French spirit of Lights, the shadow of a splendored past... Not that good, and there are many others, like Takano who is cheaper, but unfortunately a little bit farer... Do not paid attention... More

In Kaiseki's house you seat in a guest room that is also The Chef's laboratory. You can appreciate his rapidity and extreme precision in executing in solo a multitude of gestures. He is 51 and full of energy. He proposes three compositions that I see as a Menuet, a Symphony (largely sufficient for an evening dinner) and an Opera (not... More

I think we would never had been there unless we had had this gift coupon for a gastronomic meal for 2 persons! Everything to say about it is in the plate, the rest (decoration, service) is quite average. Otherwise the food experience is definitely amazing with fresh sushi with innovative recipes (ie the wasabi was one like I never tasted... More

Gute sushi. My favorite sushi spot. The sushi is so fresh. I discovered them through a Groupon my wife purchased and loved them ever since. Every time I mention this place to friends they always seem to confused it with Tank noodles for some reason. Everyone knows I love a great deal on some sushi. I have been here several... More
