Romantic and classy.

Wonderful, smaller boat with character and class. Excellent food and service. Pick this boat for your dinner cruise on the Seine.

Dinner cruises are something we would normally avoid but we're pleasantly surprised with the quality of our meal and loved the intimate feel of this lovely wooden boat. The service was excellent - they are a well oiled machine that made the night seem effortless and well timed as we slowly cruised past the Effiel Tower on the hour to... More

Myself and my fiance were looking to do something special for our late honeymoon. A dinner cruise down the Seine sounded like a great idea, but it doesn't take a genius to know that such an experience could easily be dampened by the wrong operator. After doing a fair bit of homework and reading the rave reviews, I decided to... More

We had steered clear of such dinner cruises previously based on some ordinary experiences of others, but splurged on Le Calife encouraged by many of the reviews we had read and a personal recommendation. It was a truly outstanding experience, from the greeting, the level of service , the nothing-is-too-much approach, the food and above all the locale. A river... More

I could go in but in all honesty the best thing to say is First Class from beginning to end! Magical. Pay the extra and try them out. Worth every penny, euro and dollar! ;)

This was our second time on the beautiful Le Calife. We loved it first time (4 years ago) but this time was even better. The welcome was warm and friendly; the table was perfect. The service throughout was outstanding. Our waiter, Solo, is from Madagascar and his care and attention to detail was perfect. The three other servers were also... More

We had a fab Monday evening cruise. The food was excellent and the scenery was great. I requested a Saturday evening booking (around a week before), but unfortunately they were fully booked. They emailed information on how to book for another evening. And I am glad we booked for our last evening in Paris as it was a great end... More

... and it was simply amazing. Ambience, food, music and staff couldn't be faulted. The best was definitely the views along the swine at a leisurely pace - Paris by night is simply amazing.

We chose this boat based on reviews here and were not disappointed. Our Bastille Day celebration aboard the Bateau le Calife could not have been better. The staff was so gracious and accommodating and the food was great. We couldn't have asked for a better place to watch the fireworks. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères.
