Who'd have thought - crepe main course so good

We'd never have thought that choosing a pancake (from a brilliant range) as a main course would be so delicious - and so satisfying. We shared a (good) salad with it. Assiette Lepic is a wonderful creperie in the heart of Montmartre. Its menu comprises an astonishing variety of crepes and gallettes au sarrasin (buckweath). The crepes can also be gluten free. The staff is very nice and the ambiance is cosy. Definitely NOT to be missed!

Near out hotel, this is a small, charming restaurant. Primarily a creperie, It offers several gluten free options. I had a vegetable galette and a glass of white wine. My spouse opted for meat filled crepe. Both arrived piping hot. Entrees were filling. Good service. No complaints. Good value.

My wife was looking for gluten free options in our neighborhood and found this restaurant. Although gluten free crepes is an option, the rest of the menu is very traditional Parisian. We ate here 3 times. The first time we thought crepes for dessert only, so we ate elsewhere. Once we saw the menu options for other meals offered, we... More

Our group of five had a selection of sweet and savoury crepes-all of them were absolutely delicious. Throw in the cider and we were very impressed. Lovely place across the road from Van Gogh's house. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was great and the food was just perfect in portion and flavour.

My wife and I ate here 3 times, 3 years ago. We came to see if it was still as good as we remembered. It was better! We had the Crêpe Parisienne, a savory crêpe. The complex herbal overtones were surprising in a "simple" ham, egg, cheese and mushroom crêpe. The salty base carried the aromatics beautifully. Come hungry: this... More

We were recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint. Outstanding crepes at a good price. I had mine with emmental, potatoes, onions and bacon and it tasted amazing and wasn't too heavy. The gentleman that I believe owns the place was really friendly too.

We stopping in at Lepic Assiette on our first morning in Paris. We were the only customers in the restaurant just before noon - and were wondering if we had made a poor choice. No need to worry! The staff was attentive and responsive. The menu was clearly explained - with a wide selection of salt and sweet crepes. Be... More

This creperie was recommended by our hotel. We visited for lunch and both had galettes for main course (cheese and mushroom, aubergine with bacon and egg) with salad followed by flambed crepe with chocolate, banana and chocolate ice cream, they were all delicious. Friendly staff and efficient service. Definitely worth a visit.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
