I made a reservation for this restaurant a few weeks ago and am happy to say that it was a great experience. I came here for a weekday meal during my holiday in Paris after walking around the Eiffel Tower nearby. Service was welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was really warm and cosy. For those of you that don't... More

I have been looking forward to this meal for 2 years. I heard this place was the best in Paris for duck and it DEFINITELY did not disappoint. Service was so warm and welcoming. They found me a seat in spite of not having a reservation. Definitely a must!!

Cant agreed those negative comment. I come here every year, and this is the 4th year. Quality maintained well as we come for duck and fore gras only. Bosses still show warm through they are busy in serving. Expansion of restaurant but still always being fully booked tells you how good they are. Recommend!

I went here in last April with my family, and planning to visit again in this year. Foie gras with apple sauce is the best, the smell and it melt in first bite. If you guys finding some place for dinning, I would be recommended "Au Petit Sud Quest".

Wonderful first dinner in Paris. The woman running the restaurant (I forget her name) was lovely and made my husband and me felt so welcome. Foie gras with apples and mushrooms was divine. Would return for a meal here for a future trip to paris.

Excellent restaurant that specialises in duck and goose - had excellent foie gras and goose confit. Highly recommended and would definitely return. Also, excellent hospitality - was welcomed in even though it was quite late in the afternoon, patiently attended to, and received excellent explanations in English.

It took two metro lines and a kilometre on foot from our Latin Quarter apartment to reach Au Petit Sud Ouest – but it was for my husband’s birthday and it was our last night in Paris. And it was worth it! If you have ever been to the Dordogne region of France you will know that the prix fixe... More

There is absolutely nothing that we could critique about our evening here. We went early one night for dinner (which by Parisian standards was super early!) since we were dining with our children ages 17, 13 and 6. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated as if we were old friends. It was a refreshing change... More

The atmosphere and food were to die for! Lovely French bistro in a quiet, yet fun, area by the Eiffel Tower. My husband had the cassoulet, which was the best he had the entire week, and I enjoyed the confit duck with wild mushrooms and crispy potatoes. The foie gras was amazing, and the freshly-toasted bread complemented it perfectly. Already... More
