Heaven it is ...

I read all the reviews on TA so decided to go and have an experience. I was travelling from London to Paris so thought better to make a reservation. All booked and sorted. Wasn't a problem at all to find the place. I reached ten mins before the restaurant opened for business. I stepped in and... read more

Very slow service and not worth it! I ate here with 4 other people. Only one of us really liked our dish. The person who ordered the most basic roasted duck said theirs "wasn't bad". I would not recommend this place and am sad it got such high reviews on trip advisor because there are so many other better places... More

Traditional fois gras served with fresh bread and a delicious wine is heaven. It was followed by a wonderful magret de canard. Also have tried the cassoulet and it was worth the try. The service is very good and attentive.

I was told that this restaurant needs reservation and not many people know about this restaurant ( usually tourists doesn't know ). Anyway, it was amazing. The ducks are well-cooked and it tasted great! The best duck I've ever tasted. Besides the food, I love the place, it's elegant and the waitress are friendly.

Fell upon this place whilst having a wonder in Paris this week. It was fantastic! I recommend the duck breast with potatoes. Cooked to perfection, tasted lovely. Staff were lovely, helpful and spoke very good English. We even recommended this place to friends visiting the day after but unfortunately it wasn't open. If you like duck, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is one of the best places in Paris to have first class fois gras at reasonable prices. In addition the location is superb on Ave Bourdonnais near the Eiffel Tower, the owners delightful and the Sri Lankese waiters highly professional and attentive. Finally, its a happy place, where all smile -- a rarity in Paris.

We love fois gras...it comes in many forms at this specialist restaurant. Then there is the crispy duck and goose with excellent mushrooms and thin sliced potatoes crisped in duck or goose fat. If you like fois gras it is not to be missed.

We had a reservation for dinner but happened to be nearby at noon. The hostess was very accommodating and gave us a table with a view. The duck breast (magret de canard) was beyond our expectations, a dish to remember. The bad point was the overpriced bottle of Chateau La Tour de Bly, for 43 Euros, which costs around 18... More
