Lovely food

The food was wonderful albeit pricey - best saved for a very special occasion. All the staff spoke very good English and were more than happy to translate everything on the menu. I was first smitten by the sumptuous and seductive decore which worked its magic in the flic " A Heroic Life" on the 70s glamour couple, Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg. Its boudoirs are as prized today by anyone with a romantic bone in their body, seeking privacy as their primary essence. For my femme and i, its got to... More

me and my girlfriend went here as our first Traditional French cuisine dinner. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend the Lobster although the price was extremely inflated. We were the only diners seated in our room section which was very romantic but also exceptionally quiet as there was no music to create a romantic ambiance. The view... More

What a night, we came here for a wedding and had a private room for the 6 of us. The service and the food were amazing, especially the filet, perfectly cooked over risotto and mushrooms. The wines they selected were amazing and our waiter was incredibly attentive yet kept a low key. One of the best meals I have ever... More

Our visit was a special 40th birthday celebration for my wife and I in April 2015. As non-French speakers we decided to book the table online through Tripadvisor and thefork.com. Without prior notice, this immediately reserved a fixed price 5 course Gourmand fixed menu at 150E/person. Gladly, the fixed menu is based on what the chef chose as his best... More

I celebrated my birthday here with a group of friends in one of the private rooms. We had limited choice of food as a large group but the food was great. The venue is stunning - it's so quirky and intimate. The staff were fun and incredibly helpful. Highly recommended. We had great fun.

We ate here on our wedding night after our elopement so my wife could scratch her diamond on the mirror, that is the best and only good thing about the restaurant. If that's worth a $400 bad meal to you then this is your place, the food is sub par to be kind, well the rolls were good.

On a visit to Paris, we ended up canceling dinner at a top rated restaurant in exchange for Laperouse at the ratting recommendation of a local photographer we hired to do a photo shoot. Restaurant was a bit pricey, but if you value great food at a one of a kind restaurant you will absolutely love this place!

We were seated in an upstairs room with 3 other nicely spaced tables, 2 of which were also occupied. Nice view of Seine. Dejeuner menu includes a glass of wine and half bottle of water per person. Westarted with Champagne and saved the wine for the main courses. Excellent choices on menu..a zucchini creamy soup in shot glass amuse bouche... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
