Dim sum in Paris

Great dim sum has been available every time we've been to this restaurant mid-day and it always satisfies. Carts are available on weekends and on any of the weekdays that we've been there, most recently on a Monday (as a party of 7) although many diners were enjoying soup and not dim sum. A couple... read more

We had reserved a table for two ( call made in english ) and when we arrived there was no one who could direct us to our table. The staff who where present there could not even understand a thing when we mentioned that we had a reservation that was already confirmed. We even doubted if we were in the... More

I see how some might be disappointed by their dim sum experience here, but it is all about the timing. It's not a full time ds resto, instead bringing out the 2 or 3 carts only for Saturday and Sunday lunch (as far as I can tell). And you better come at the beginning, since they often stop refilling the... More

There has been a change of management. The food is very good and fresh every day. Service can be slow which is understandable if you go at the rush hour. I go to the same waiter every time so service is excellent. Ask for "Kaing" Very reasonable and authentique. Fish, crab and lobster picked straight out of the aquarium in... More

I've been to this restaurant on a sunday while looking for an Dim-sum. It's NOT a real Dim-Sum as stated on the reviews (you have to necessarily order "a la carte"). Also, it's not open Non Stop as stated on some reviews and the kitchen closes at 3. The service is just ok but slow. The food is average.

Overall very good. We went for the dim sum, although I also had the pho-like meatball and beef noodle soup. The watercress fried with garlic was tasty and cooked correctly. The dim sum was also tasty, although not the best, it was respectable for Paris at the price point. The filling was tasty, although the dim sum did lack juice... More

yummy dim sum in a traditional environment where the carts are wheeled around to each table for the diner to make his/her selection, including old favorites such as chicken feet. Well worth the trip, though it is way out at the end of the metro lines. Prices are very reasonable and you can walk out of there quite content for... More

Finally! We had been looking for anything resembling a real dim sum restaurant in Paris for quite a while in vain, until we happened upon on a review of this place by accident while checking out reviews for another resto on TA. We are so happy, this place is so good and so like it should be. It's true that... More

Great quality Dim Sum. Even though it's your typical busy, over Crowded Chinese restaurant on a Sunday the service was quick & friendly .I would recommend.

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighborhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
