Good experience

Many people told us about this little restaurant. We went there during our trip in the neighbouroud. The menu is short but the choice is enough. They serve several vegetables with every dish. I think that table are too close from each others but it's like in every bistro I imagine.

Le Grand Pan was well discovered before our visit. Five years old and well reviewed, it seemed as if everyone was a regular or at least a repeat. A good sign. Small. Out of the way on a back street in the 15th. Two rooms. Tiny kitchen. Blackboard menu featuring meat and emphasizing the quality of the ingredients. For the... More

I had read great reviews of this place in several blogs and books. We didn't have reservations, and it was a friday night, but there were two spots at the bar we took. The staff was very helpful, everything was in french, but one of the waiters was able to explain the menu. It's a very lively atmosphere. Reasonably priced... More

We had a week in Paris and when we found this little gem near our apartment, we dined there the last two nights in Paris. It is small and filled with locals. It is in the 15th arrondissement so it is off-the-beaten-path. However, our apartment was only 2 blocks away. My husband and I had a chance to order a... More

Out of the way, in a residential district of the 15e. The staff was friendly and helpful, as the menu was all in French. Definitely worth the ride. Only go if you are a meat lover. The steak for 2 was perfectly cooked....would definitely recommend.

It is a very good french restaurant in Paris, a bit pricy but, well... you are in Paris. We have had a very tasty côte de boeuf and got great recommended red wine from the sommelier. I would go back for sure.

This restaurant is slightly out of the way being a good walk from the metro but the food is well prepared and the staff are very friendly. Please note that it is rather meat centric and their signature dishes are various large cuts of meat.

I went with my family and my brother as he lives in Paris the meat was gorgeous but perhaps more vegetables were needed. the place was small and cosy and I think the prices were average for Paris. We were made to feel very welcome and lots of regulars seemed to pop in too.

Although this restaurant was recommended by a friend who had read about it in some travel magazine and had subsequently eaten there, I would not recommend it to anyone. Initially we were impressed with the cozy atmosphere, which quickly turned into a feeling of being a “sardine in a can” once all the tables were filled. The “Pan” in their... More
