Only for the truffle fanatics!

Popped by this restaurant as it was near where we lived, got a bit lucky as the restaurant was full and we did not make a reservation yet was still able to get a table! Everything on the menu has truffles! The truffle risotto is a must try! Went back a second time for lunch! Overall a very good... read more

First off the maitre de was not very funny although someone must told him he was because he was such a clown. Waiter had no personality. Almost all of the menu items either 1) come without truffles, 2) come with seasonal truffles (which just means that they are not black and because they have no flavor because it is the... More

We were very impressed with the truffle expert at this restaurant. He was excited to show us the newest ones that had come in and invited us to smell and look at the different types of whites and blacks. The meal was enjoyable but surprisingly the truffle flavor did not come across very well in our dishes even though there... More

The whole dinner experience was great. Dinner was fabulous... Specially the truffle risotto. Mild and intense at the same time. Drop by and enjoy a great meal here!

It was my birthday. But that's not important. 1) The table is very small and the distance between the tables is very short. I don't want to hear the conversations of people at nearby tables. 2) People from all over the world arrive to Paris and "La Maison de la Truffe" - is famous and popular place. They must have... This restaurant is a small beautiful elegant place located just across La Madeleine. It has great service and nice ambiance. Everything is cooked or seasoned with truffle, from the entrees to the desserts and you can chose if you want your specific plate with Season truffle, black truffle or white truffle. Definitely worth the visit.

I write this review, with such disappointment. I arrived in Paris today and had lunch in this restaurant. They offered to store my bags in the back closet while I ate. Once I arrived to the hotel after lunch, I realized all of my bags, shoes, electronics, and jewelry had been stolen out of my bag. I called frantically and... More

As the name says...it's the house of truffles...everything has truffle. I do like them but not on every plate I eat in one seating. I had the foie gras with truffles and the rack of lamb (also with truffles). I was there 5 days ago and can't seem to remember what we had for dessert so I guess it wasn't... More

Very good restaurant! They have a little shop inside that you can get your hands in a lot of great products that they serve in the restaurant such as oil ad butter with truffles. The dishes were very well cooked and had the opportunity to add black truffles in both of my plates. Here are some pictures
