Our favourite restaurant in Montmartre

Went to Le Coin Des Amis tonight for our second time and once again we had a great night. The food is amazing...particularly the snails.....delicious and the best we've had so far during our week in Paris. It was difficult to choose from the menu as there were so many exciting choices. Went with my family: great with our kids but no specific child menu. Best French onion soup ever. Worth it for the soup alone.

Frogs legs, escargot, duck confit... An amazing meal at a fantastic restaurant with a great staff at a reasonable price.

Charming and nicely decorated little restaurant with friendly staff who mostly speak French, but were attentive and gave us plenty of time between meals to digest and talk. There was no rush to leave. Tried the escargot and frogs legs, which were delicious, especially along with the baskets of bread they gave us to soak up all the extra garlic... More

This place is simply brilliant! Amazing food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. A real gem! Yes, service is on the slow side, but is so charming, that you actually don't care. And the waiter, one word, unique. So far one of the best places I've ever been to.

Ate dinner here twice. Pretty long hick up the hill from Rue Onano, but well worth it. The wines are wonderful and the escargot exceptional. Very friendly and competant waiter, (who spoke enough English) nothing whatever to complain about in any way. Not terribly expensive, either.

Small restaurant behind Montmartre with a very friendly waiter, and the salads we had were really good, and reasonably priced, and the wine we had was also excellent. Most of the other guests were French, which was a good sign. It was a bit quieter than some other places, just off the main road, but easy to find and highly... More

A lovely ambience, a very interesting menu, and the food is excellent ; we also took the advice on red wine which was also spot on. Definitely a restaurant to use if you are in the area ; we'll be back.

Ou apartment host recommended this place in his neigborhood. Just AWESOME! We went there yesterday and will be back tomorrow. My kids even changed their deserts for entrées: la terrine de poireaux e foie gras. The beef (we has entrecotê and filet) were very good with the homemade potatoes. Service was very friendly. VERY good value for money!

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
