A Paris delight

This is a truly great night out. You order your wine choice and the dishes follow the selection (food allergies are discussed). Here you will try some excellent wines accompanied by superb food. Your waiter will explain each wine after a "can you guess" session! My teenage boys loved it and... read more

This is a truly great night out. You order your wine choice and the dishes follow the selection (food allergies are discussed). Here you will try some excellent wines accompanied by superb food. I had heard and read about Enrico Bernardo and about his credentials as the World's Best Sommelier in 2004. I expected to taste great wines yet somehow I was lukewarm about the restaurant . I had thought I would have an Italian meal with good wines in Paris and I was not thrilled about it. I was completely wrong! First... More

We went to celebrate our 10 years marriage anniversary. We had a very romantic diner and great experience with the menu aveugle. The wines were excellent. We left with a beautiful gift book from Bernard. Thank you very much for the amazing experience.. Anyway we are going back in April to introduce to my father in law. See you soon.... More

Have visited twice, both times we were treated to an awesome friendly and innovative style of dining. Superb wines, perfectly combined food (yes, they match the food to your wine choice!), and the service is so friendly and professional. They make you feel like family.

We made reservations at Il Vino, not knowing quite what to expect, but liking the concept. What a great evening we had! We suspected the wine would be amazing -- and it was. But the food that accompanied the wine was also superb. Yes, it is pricey, but not for what you get--a fabulous meal with incomparable wines. The atmosphere... More

Charged 68 euros for 2 plates of plain pasta with no meat nor seafood nor vegs for my 2 young boys, and without informing me in advance whe I asked for something simple for the kids. If I have known I will be charged such exorbitant price for the kids, I would have just simply ordered a main course from... More

Dear Ms. Swan, We had different exchange of e-mails, but I see that you are more happy to write in TripAdvisor…and of course you write just part of the history… We are a Michelin star restaurant specialized in wine menu and our office informed you that hat we do not have special menu for kids, because is not really the... This is a great experience for wine enthusiasts, Go for the set menu where they bring you the wines and then pair the foods with the wines. It is a lot of fun to not know what you are going to eat but do know what you are going to drink! If you have any food allergies/restrictions, just tell your... More

Part of the average review is that it is very pricey and I did not get what I was expecting. Part of that is my fault for not understanding the concept clearly but, the restaurants execution was not that great either. It is a restaurant where you pick your wines and they match the food to it. I thought I... More

Came here for a nice meal with my wife on our honeymoon. The service was impeccable and very friendly. We were welcomed with Champagne as a congratulations - very nice touch. The concept of the restaurant is great. You select the wine type you want - when we were there it was French wines or "Wine of the World". The... More

Actually I wanted to give Il Vino 3.5 stars. My reservation with Qui Plume La Lune was canceled out of my control. Fortunately, I'd booked Il Vino before and hadn't cancelled so it served as my Plan B. The menu with 4 courses with 4 glasses of wine costed 95 euros which for me was very good value for money....
