Good Thai food

The staff were very polite and helpful. I went for a safe bet with the thai green curry, with sticky rice which was very tasty and a generous helping. However the pudding was quite small and we didn't have any drinks, but the meal was fairly expensive over all.

We enjoyed the vegetarian dishes and chicken with basil. Nothing fancy, but it's a comfortable place and the staff were friendly and attentive. A nice change from French cuisine.

I wish i could review the food at Mai Thai, however- unfortunately, that is not possible thanks to a rarely seen rude staff. First up a vacant table is given away right before us to a couple that came and cued after us. Second another vacant table that was reserved to Four People who apparently never came, was passed on... We stayed in Paris for a month and needed a break from French Food. This was the Perfect solution to our problem. The wait staff was outstanding (Helpful, friendly) and the food was prepared and presented with care, pride and professionalism. And the taste, that's why you're here, was fantastic! We highly recommend this little place. It is even worth... More

If you are missing Thai food in Paris while on your travels look no further than Mai Thai. My wife is Thai and once in a while when we travel she and the rest of our family search out a good Thai restaurant for our favourite dishes. Mai Thai offers authentic Thai cuisine made my Thai chefs and served by... More

The place is small so reservations are recommended. The menu is in English and French. The flavors are pretty good and the quality / price ratio is decent, we paid around $46 for a dinner for two and were completely satisfied because the serving portions are bigger than the average of French restaurants. Try the pineapple rice and the iced... More

My husband and I ate there tonight and the food was awful. Not only that but someone on the staff was coughing throughout our meal. Very unappetizing indeed!

This is really good Thai food and there are lots of vegetarian options. Everything's pretty standard fare but the quality is very good and pricing is reasonable. There's also fresh sliced chilli and hot sauce available if you ask. (Fresh chilli seems hard to find in Paris.) Service was friendly and efficient and coped with English reasonably well. Well worth... More

Too expensive and not worth it. I had a grilled beef with sauce. Paid 18 euro' s and all i got was a sliced beefstake. Nothing more. We had to order rice with chopped vegetables (8 euro) otherwise i would have left the restaurant still feeling hungry.

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
