Great find!

Great little find, we walked past and it smelt so good that we went in and were not disappointed. My pad Thai was as good as any & my partner insists its the best red curry he's ever had. It was so good that we went back the next day! However as it's not the most touristy place if you... read more

We hadn't planned on eating Thai tonight but we were exiting the grocery store across the street and were taken by this little Thai restaurant. The atmosphere is eclectic and combines Thai wackiness with a little style and chic. The ladies serving us could not have been nicer or more genuine. We enjoyed our appetizers, meals, drinks, and dessert thoroughly,... More

This review is more a three-and-a-half...... First of all some positive points. The outside seating.....not so common for "world-food" restaurants in Paris ...very pleasant. The service was generally good throughout the whole evening. Food was fine but the whole table generally felt it was lacking in a little "punch"...maybe this is to cater for fussy French tastes, but many Thai... More

We had just visited a nearby Italian restaurant in order to make a dinner reservation and had started walking down Saint Gilles towards the heart of the Marais to find a nice place for lunch. Wham! A downpour. Rather than traipse around in the rain we decided the Mai Thai look like a pretty good port in a storm. All... More

The place is small, simple and tables are very tight which is typical in Paris. The staff is friendly The menu is in English and French. The food flavors are good. I had shrimp curry and pineapple fried rice and my husband had calmary with basil. Keep in mind, you have to order rice separately which makes your main order... More

Stopped in for an early dinner one evening. I hadn't read any reviews but the menu looked good and the restaurant had a numer of customers eating already. It was a good decision to stop. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. The food came out quick considering the number of people seated by the time I... More

We had a quick lunch here. Nems were a little cold inside, but the main (beef with red curry and coconut for me and chicken for my husband) was great. Desserts were nice to. Good service, but waitress was in a hurry.

We are usually late to go for lunch- but we were not late for this- reached here just 15 mins before closing time. Ordered our favorite Pad Thai and we were not disappointed. Other dishes were Shrimp Fried Rice and Ginger Chicken. Very very tasty food with generous quantity. However, price is s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y on the higher side. However, can go... More

The staff were very polite and helpful. I went for a safe bet with the thai green curry, with sticky rice which was very tasty and a generous helping. However the pudding was quite small and we didn't have any drinks, but the meal was fairly expensive over all.

We enjoyed the vegetarian dishes and chicken with basil. Nothing fancy, but it's a comfortable place and the staff were friendly and attentive. A nice change from French cuisine.

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
