Yum!

I fell in love with the delicious sorbets of Amorino on a recent trip to Paris. In the Parisian heat a fruity sorbet really hit the spot. And after all that walking viewing the sites, I think you've probably earned it! I tried a few different flavours but the seasonal lime and basil flavour that... read more

We love good gelato and Amorino has the best. Came upon the Jardin des Tuileries location one day and returned again to enjoy their tasty treats. They are easy to spot as there is usually a long line snaking out from the portable kiosk. They have a great selection and you can choose from petit cornets to grande, along with... More

It was recommended by a local and we weren't dissapointed. They has a lot of variety gelatos, sorbets and icecreams. Ask what they suggest, we went with their picks. It was very good. I tried stratecella gelato for the first time there, and now I have my freezer stocked with it!you can also get macaroon there. We ate our goodies... More

1st time trying. Very nice and only cost around €3.95 for smallest cone flower ice cream. You may choose any flavours of your choice to shape up your ice cream petal. Very helpful english speaking friendly staff. Must try if happen to be at that area.

This was unlike any other ice cream we tried in Paris. The presentation was unique, and included 3 flavors in the small cone! I had the chocolate, coffee, and hazelnut. Absolutely incredible!

Found this ice cream store when we were in Paris and blown away by the choices and taste! My favorites were by far the Madagascar vanilla and pistachio. Recommend trying, if you are in any bigger city in France you should be able to find it. We ran across one in Nice as well; there we tried one of their... More

Found this little hole in the wall by taking a wrong, er..Right turn. Trying to catch our on and off bus and we missed it for this little shop. Ice cream to die for in multiple flavors which the servers used to build roses on top of the cones. Each petal of the rose was delicious. Make this a must... More

We stumbled upon this place as we wandered around Saint-Germain and it proved to be some of the best ice cream i've ever had (and i've eaten a lot of ice cream!) You have to pay for the size cup/cornet you want first at the till and then you tell someone else what you want so it was a little... More

We stopped for gelato and were treqted to the most beautiful presentation. I ordered two flavors - lemon and raspberry. The girl used the paddled to form a rose on my sugar cone. The outer petals were lemon and the bud in the center was raspberry. It was so refreshing, but al ost too pretty to eat

Great place to stop for some Gelato. I was very impressed by how good this place was. I went twice while in Paris because I loved it so much. They have a small seating area or you can take your cone and walk down the streets. Most of the rest of the stuff in this area was your typical average... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
