Great find and excellent food!

We stumbled upon this place as were very hungry and our first choice of restaurant did not have a table available for us. This place was cozy and seemed like a great neighborhood bistro. There were various locals dining there. Service here was attentive and friendly. For our appetizers we had the escargots with parsley butter, which were flavorful and... More

My husband, 15 year-old son, and I were looking for some authentic French food. We located La Sourdiere through Tripadvisor and were not disappointed. We were staying near the Louvre, so I searched for restaurants nearby. I head steak and the Au gratin potatoes, my husband and son had the chicken and pasta. Both were excellent. I actually liked the... More

Pleaseant place, great attention, great food, prices are good for Paris. Their wine list is good enough. Worth the visit!

Just popped by and popped in. the place is evidently family friendly, easy going And lively. We liked it. My lovely non foodie girlfriend enjoyed the confit and said it was the best meal she has had so far.

Went for dinner with my wife. The onionsoup was fantastic, the steak was very good but my wife hade a burger which wasnt more than middle. Staff was very friendly but the best part was the entertainment. One man on the piano and a young girl signing old french songs from the 50/60s. Perfect and romantic entertainment on a Thursday... Came here by recommendation from our hotel concierge. Seated immediately without a reservation. Service was excellent, dinner was excellent......would come back. I had fish, my husband had the duck and we shared an apple tartine for desert.

I ate at La Sourdiere multiple times during previous stays in Paris, and made sure to once again schedule a meal here during my most recent visit to the city. The interior had been renovated since my previous passing, and has been giving a more spatious, modern look with red tints. Eating there was a pleasure - the staff was... More

Found this restaurant while walking past. Located at 4 Rue de la Sourdiere. Dropped in and were welcomed warmly. The food was excellent and service warm and friendly even though we have very limited french. Would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately we were not in Paris on a Friday as they have Jazz in the evenings.
