Found this restaurant while walking past. Located at 4 Rue de la Sourdiere. Dropped in and were welcomed warmly. The food was excellent and service warm and friendly even though we have very limited french. Would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately we were not in Paris on a Friday as they have Jazz in the evenings.

We came here based on Tripadvisor reviews. My steak was tougher than chewing on the leather of my own belt, it had the distinction of being the worst steak that I have every had. The atmosphere is decent but a little casual, and service was ok for Paris. Yes the service in the Paris where tips are automatically included in... More

We had planned to have lunch after the Louvre at a café nearby with superior TA rating only to find it closed for vacation. In August that happens. A gentlemen was working in the restaurant and we asked for a local recommendation and he suggested La Sourdiere one street away. A great find and highly recommended. This is on a... More

After years of visiting, before and after the redecoration of the place, I have to say: near Vendôme and St Honoré this is a place to have a good lunch, in a relaxed setting where real, normal Parisians come to eat. We had a variety of meals and were never disappointed. Service is swift, accurate and friendly, cuisine is classical... More

We weren't overly impressed with our mains but this place is definitely worth visiting if you love cheese! The platter was HUGE and only 15 euro. They also had a great happy hour special.

We ate here on a Friday night. I had booked by email, but there was no need to have done. The food was delicious, and beautifully cooked. The staff were young and friendly and efficient. The restaurant lacked atmosphere, the furniture is modern and rather functional. There was some live music later, which livened it up! When we passed the... More

I admit I chose 'La Sourdiere by Yoan' because it is not like other restaurants on the road side of St. Honore, to appeal to me like tourist traps, and when I saw what people were eating, from windows, many of them look like something just come out from a microwave. They offer above the average standard food. And the... More

I had several meals at this restaurant and enjoyed all of them. The restaurant is clean, the food is safe to eat and delicious. I particularly liked their salads! Waitress was lovely.
