A real good Indian restaurant with tasteful dishes. Excellent value for money, as they are not expensive for Paris standards. Even a lot cheaper then the Indian restaurants back home in the Netherlands. The restaurant is run by a very friendly owner. So give this place a try if you like Indian food. It's recommended.

As an ex-pat in Paris for many years I've tried the majority of the Parisian Indian restaurants and generally been disappointed; Le jardin du Kashmir is however an exception to the rule as it is always friendly, good value and the food is consistently excellent. You can even get your food hot and spicy (on request) which is unheard of... More

We found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and we are glad we did. It was about a mile walk from our hotel in a part of town that doesn't appear to be visited by tourists so it was a great change of pace. I can't even begin to express how friendly and personable the owner was. I assume the owner.... More

We tried to get reservations for another Indian restaurant on New Year's Eve, but it was fully booked. That restaurant referred us to Le jardin du Kashmir. I'm very glad they did. There was nothing remarkable about this restaurant, but the food was good, and the service was excellent. We really appreciated the proprietor, who was a very nice gentleman.... More

Been to a few Paris Indians in 10 years but this takes some beating. Its not like a UK curry as French Indians you won't get the popodams in quality or quantity, the dips the same, the naan always gets served as a starter unless you specify you want it with the main dish ans the curries are generally milder.... We came across Le Jardin du Kashmir by chance while walking pass. As soon as we walked inside the owner showed his warm welcome to us. The first thing that took our attention was the restaurant seemed very clean and charming compering to other Indian restaurants i have visited before. They managed to reflect authoetnic ambiance with small details. As... More

Walked the area and found two, tried this one. Order Chicken Curry and rice...should be very basic Indian food. Was very bad...no flavor, no curry! Service was good, place was very nice...but the food not to what I expected. Better try the one down the street. The fish, meat, or chicken needs to be cooked in the curry sauce or... More

The service was really friendly, helpful and consistent for all customers. We all felt very welcomed and valued. Papads were great, just like real ones in Northern India. The starters were a little more oily than expected, but tasty. Mains courses tasted reasonably authentic. Mango lassi was a bit of a disappointment, not enough mango and too much froth. Overall,...
