Glad I tried it

I have been coming to this street for years for good inexpensive Asian food, but always stayed with my two favorite places, Hokkaido and Higuma. I decided it was time to try something new because there are so many choices on this street. I came for dinner on a Friday night, and as I was on my own... read more

Went here one day last week for lunch... It was pretty crowded with locals so we figured it must be good! There were a lot of choices on the menu, and the prices were fair... I had an omelette with rice and chicken.. It was really good! Everyone else's food looked delish and we all agreed the food was very... More

Food was good, hot and service was fast. PACKED full... and across the street a fab AKI Japanese bakery. BOTH worth the visit!

Living in Asia and often going to Japan, i had my fair share of Japanese Ramen, and this one was just ok. Not too bad not too good. The whole staff is Chinese (i speak chinese and very little japanese so i know the difference) and the chef while cooking removed his hat to scratch vigorously his head, then back... More

This is the single most overrated place I have ever been to. I have enjoyed ramen from all over the world and this was a poor excuse for flavourless dish water. Considering there was a line out on the street, a very good rating on trip advisor, some articles in the newspaper etc it astounds me how they can be... More

We stopped there because we were looking for a quick meal, and you get good value for the price there. The food is good and in quantity. It is a small and simple restaurant do not expect anything amazing. If you want to eat japanese but avoid the usual sushi menus this is a good place to choose.

The ramen over here is pretty good, but the yakisoba is very very tasty. The people who worked here are not Japanese, but Chinese since they all speak Mandarin. I can understand why the waiter/waitresses are not the nicest people, because they are very busy (place was full all the time everytime I passed by). However, the waiter who served... More

Friendly staff and very good food. I was annoyed about them not taking credit cards or ticket restaurant when I visited. Now they take Cc payments so that improved at least :)

This noodle place compared favorably to ones I've visited in Tokyo. The gyoza were tasty and the service was prompt and brisk, just like in Japan. The noodles seemed authentic, the broth was good and the ratio of vegetables to noodles (way more of the latter) was exactly what I expected. Ramen makes a great foil to a few days... More
