Decent restaurant near Notre Dame

Nothing wrong with the restaurant. Staff are friendly and food is good. Very close to Notre Dame. Not really a destination but good if you looking for a place to eat near Notre Dame

I went here with my girlfriend, we both chose the steak. Was one of the best steaks ive ever had and at a very good price. We paid ?25 each and the steak was accompanied by drinks and also fresh bread. Was very nice, great location!

We ate Sunday lunch here and had high expectations, based on friends' recommendations. Though we had a reservation. we still had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. The cozy dining room oozed charm with its beamed ceiling, wooden floor and wood tables. We heard only French being spoken by other diners so we did not feel as if we... More

Very pleasant meal in comfortable surroundings where there is even a gap between the tables. We started with a glass of Champagne each. As we'd had a 3 course lunch at L'Ami Jean earlier in the day, Liz my wife didn't have a starter, but I had Cocotte d'escargots de Bourgogne a l'Epoisses (Burgandy snails in Epoisse cheese sauce) which... This really is a delightful little restaurant close to Notre Dame. Although some of the tables are very close together it does not distract you from the culinary enjoyment ahead. All courses were delicious, very well presented with good wine and a glass of calvados to round off a thoroughly good evening.

Little hesitant at first as it looked like a pub when we walked in. Traveling with kids we werent sure if this would be suitable, but there was a back dining room resembling more of a restaurant. Everything was delicious, especially the trout, frog legs, and lamb chops. Good service and reasonable prices!

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant, complimented by the good and friendly service.Good value and great quality. The restaurant is in a quiet street behind Notre Dame. Definately will return.By the time we left it was full, a recommendation in itself.

Very impressed with this lovely French restaurant, very close to Notre Dame. The service was good and friendly and the food was excellent. I would certainly recommend the sea bream for main course as fantastic. The starter of crayfish ravioli was also a treat. The salmon was also excellent and the zucchini soup was also fantastic. I would highly recommend... More

Neighborhood Profile
Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité, sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island, welcomes you with cozy traditional eateries, small boutiques, and what some people say is the best ice cream in the city. This is essential Paris from its very beginnings to its modern appeal.
