Finally a hearty vegetarian meal in Paris!

Great location and a very cozy ambience. Had the L’ÉSCALOPE DE SEITAN (seitan (wheat), fried potatoes, vegetables of saison, moss of vegetables with herbs, raw vegetables) and it was great. Really tasty and filling. No brainer if you're vegetarian/vegan in Paris.

Overpriced, like vegan food from the 70's. As a vegan missing food I did not cook myself, I wanted it to rule, but it did not. I'm not going there again.

I heard about this place because it's been listed as one of the top vegetarian restaurants in the world. But I don't like to have my impressions tainted by preconceptions so went in without assuming it would blow my mind. The place itself is very nice, quite cramped but I don't mind that as it feels livelier than it otherwise... More

I'm vegetarian, and my girlfriend isn't, but I was desperate for French food I could eat, and we were both pleased with our dishes here. She had a lovely spaghetti, while I most enjoyed the mango/avocado and sesame seed appetizer. Both the tabels and the dishes are small, but the food is crafted with care, and I even had trouble... excellent service, excellent food - just a bit tiny. Funny that the road is called rue de la boucheri - the butcher's road

After being stuck on a bad Vegan restaurant in Paris finding this place was an absolute gem. The food and service were lovely. Lots of choice on the menu which is always unusual for me. My boyfriend struggled as he's a meat eater but settled for the spag bol which he has said he would recommend to any meat eaters... More

Wonderful little gem near the Cathedral Notre Dame and in the heart of the Latin Quarter. This is the second time in a year that I have visited this vegetarian only restaurant and it did not fail to impress again. Wonderful variety of dishes, tasty and exotic. The vegetarian only chef clearly knows how to deliver unlike other top quality... More

My daughter, who is vegan, had a difficult time finding vegan or vegetarian restaurants in central Paris. This is one of four that she found and took us to for a meal. It was the one that I liked the least. We made a reservation so we didn't have any wait when we arrived. We were seated upstairs in a... More

Came here for dinner on my first night in Paris. It was great to find a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Paris as there are not many within the city centre. The food was a little pricey and had weird flavour to it. I Would recommend making a booking as they were very busy. The service was not very good - the... More

To find a vegetarian restaurant in veggie-challenged paris, and this one is fine. But not amazing. It's pretty heavy and not wonderfully seasoned. Very small and hot. Not bad but a bit disappointing.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
