Decent Chinese at reasonable prices

After eating rich Parisian food for a couple of days, we started to crave Chinese, so we were happy to eat lunch. The food is decent and reasonably priced and the menu is very large, so I'm sure most people could find something to eat here.

Although the food was spicy and we had to wait in line for a dozen minutes, the food was simply amazing. It was warm, spicy and delicious. My favorite restaurant.

We were walking through the quartier latin and looking for some oriental food and decided to try the lac de l'ouest. On the good side of the dining experience was the food. We had: - cold spring rolls Vietnamese style and warm spring rolls Vietnamese style with shrimp. Both tasted well. Nothing to complain about. - pho: a large portion... More

My wife, 17 year old daughter and I visited Paris this summer in July. My wife and I had been there before, but it was my daughter's first time. We had eaten at a variety of restaurants, cafe's and brasseries, and after a few nights we were looking for something different. By sheer good fortune, we were wandering around the... More

After over indulging in French food and wine, I started craving for greasy Chinese food. Chinese restaurants or restaurants that offer Chinese food are hard to come by in Paris. This place is located in the lively neighborhood of Latin Quartier. We came here at around 11:30 pm and they close at midnight. We were their last customers and the... More

An extensive menu, not overy priced for Paris, fast service and good tasting Asian cusine - not overly spiced and no added MSG. A really good find in this restaurant district. Happy to recommend.

We visited this little restaurant after wandering round unsure what to eat. My husband is vegetarian so we always need to make sure we can cater to his needs. We were a little unsure when ordering what he would actually get but it turned out to be an excellent meal. We had vegetable spring rolls and egg foo yung to... More

The welcome is very warm and service very good. We had a Lac duck and a beef in ginger dish following some delicious crispy spring rolls. Wow,the flavours were superb and the freshness wonderful. We live in France and this is the best place by far. Wine and food is a sensible price. Very good value.

Aubergine was drench with oil. crispy noodle was like eating crackers too little gravy. Being an Asian I would have say it's a bit lacking Thai fried rice was so so but staff are friendly and very easy going

We searched on Tripadvisor for a nice, non-expensive Chinese restaurant in the area that we were walking around and stumbled upon le lac de l'ouest. At first we were unsure if they had any tables, but there is a small room not visible from the front door that can seat another ~10 people. We were quickly seated and given menus.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine.
