Great food for a reasonable price in a grand setting

We were looking for somewhere easy to reach, serving good food at a reasonable price (for Paris!) and we found it here. It is right next to the tube stop at the bottom of the Champs-Elysées. We came here on recommendation by a local friend, but left not super impressed. First of all, this place definitely has the looks. Located inside Grand Palais, with a terrace looking out. I can imagine this place to be a nice place for breakfast, lunch, or tea/coffee when the weather's nice. But that's not enough for a good restaurant, right?... More

This is a beautiful place and I wish I could recommend it to you. Unfortunately I advise you to avoid it if you don't want irritating service which starts with 1. having to wait a very long time to be served, 2. then another long wait to have the order taken, 3. then to have a waiter, who is not... Went on a Saturday night, definitely need a reservation as they were turning people away when we arrived at 7:30pm. Sat outside which was cooler and had some lovely scenery on the terrace - be aware people will happily smoke away next to you though. Cheapest bottle of white (30€) was very good and the entrees of prawns and friend... More

A cracking place for a special occasion. The cocktails on the patio were great and even though it was cold the heaters kept things cosy. Inside the dinner menu was amazing and the food a fine quality. The menu in English or French (and probably other languages) had great choice without too many options. Classic dishes cooked to a high... More

A French friend took us here after we went to a special exhibit at the Grand Palais. What a find! The space was relaxed elegant. The food was a high standard. We ate inside, but they have a huge outside terrace too! Very few nice options in the immediate area, and this was excellent. We went early for France (12:30),... More

We were celebrating a very special occasion and we have booked in advance. Although they gave us their best table we asked them to change it because we were a bit squeezed (we were 6 and the table was for 5). They did immediately and I really appreciated this. We had a lovely time. Our waiter Stefano was very pleasant... More

I came here yesterday with my mum and a friend who lives in Paris. The restaurant wows with its location - after all it is situated in a palais. The staff were extremely friendly and didn't just ignore us to speak to my friend in French but actually spoke to us also and explained some dishes on the menu. The... More

An absolutely beautiful restaurant - totally lacking in professional service staff - and a kitchen trying to turn leftovers into dinner. Excellent sommelier, who was very helpful, but the waiters were glorified busboys, who did not know the food and could not explain any menu item. Had they been able to tell me what the items were, I would not... More

Wonderful relaxing location. Best lunch i had in Paris! Great food, great service fast service. The tartar de thon & Saumon aux épices tandoori were excellent! Nice selection of wine.
