Cool venue, good food and friendly service!

Went there for dinner with friends and loved it. Can highly recommend if you look for a place with a special, fancy atmosphere and if you are ready to spend some money of course as it is not cheap. Delicious food, great range to choose from and good service, all within the Grand Palais on the corner nearest the Seine.

My last afternoon in Paris, and I called in here for some refreshment to round off my visit. I was immediately attracted by the classy decor, and had high hopes of the Thé Gourmand. Alas, a disappointment - one mini-dessert plus two small cookies and a tiny piece of sponge. I've had far superieur elsewhere.

Le Mini Palais is in one of the exhibition halls from 1900 - cavernous ceilings and great architrave murals and elements abound and are the backdrop for new large art pieces. The food is amazing and amazingly french. The rolls are some of the best i've had. It's the perfect way to start the tour of whatever exhibit is going... More

Nice atmosphere, excellent location, very nice terrace for the summer visits. The staff are very professional and not pretentious. However, it has an excellent wine list, the food menu was normal than a very good brasserie menu. Yet it is very reasonable in price. If you wish to be seated near a window then you will need to book well... More

I had the best experience at this restaurant. I was in Paris for a business trip and this was recommended by the partner on my engagement, who is a local. So of course I was shocked when I got on trip advisor and saw a lot of the not so great reviews. We were able to get a reservation for... More

The staff was just excellent, friendly and prompt to serve the food, even with a full restaurant. Food was great for lunch, huge portions. Tea time was also good except the very dry cakes served with the cafe gourmand. We even had to chew on the ends of the pudding cakes. I won't renew the cafe gourmand experience. The space... More

We used to love this place. My husband and I both got sick by the steak tartare this week. And last year he got sick from the Vitello Tonato. The menu has not changed in years and if you are a return visitor it is so boring. What was once good is tired and bored and lost it's friendly boutique... More

Me and my girlfriend arrived around 1pm and were able to sit down straight away. We ordered our food, my girlfriend ordered the Duck which was delicious! I ordered the Beef TarTar, unfortunately (because of no fault of the restaurant) I didn't like it, in which they offered me to order something else right away! I took a leap out... More

We went last week when it was cold and could not benefit from the terrace which is beautiful. However the main room has high ceilings with a nice, calm ambience. The service was very good and the food was quite good and very well presented.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
