This is a superb restaurant that serves both from the menu and from daily specials. The portions are plentiful, the atmosphere calm and the servers extremely pleasant and helpful. We have been there twice for lunch and have fully enjoyed both meals. Noone rushes you along, there is outside seating, and the ambiance is warm and friendly. We would certainly... More

It was Sunday night on French Mothers Day. This place had been packed all day and with limited choices we saw one empty table and sat down. The restaurant is in a small alley off of the pedestrian busy Rue Vieille du Temple where we were staying, so it was nice with some green space on a beautiful evening. The... More

We were worried our lack of French would cause problems but we had a perfect evening. The staff politely helped us get through ordering wine and 3 courses. No rushing through out the meal. The bread was plentiful. Dessert was perfect for sharing. The food was wonderful. I would say come in get a pitcher of house wine. Then. Start... More

Great spot. Good food. Normal price range for this popular area. Reasonable wines. Very kindly willing to work around dietary limitations, taking them seriously and remaining pleasant.

This is connected to Les Philosophes around the corner, and two other places next to it. They serve pretty much the same food. Expensive for the quality. I find the test of a local place are the duck dishes. Overcooked and dry, versus succulent and juicy. This place falls in the middle. I would rather go a block and try... More

I went for a late dinner here and lucked out by getting a table outside near one of the flower beds. Good food, good drinks, good people watching, lovely street --- I'd definitely go back here for another meal.

My french teacher recommended this place but we actually found it by mistake. It was after midnight and we were hungry. This was one of the few places open in the Marais. In our limited French we ordered not exactly sure what we were going to get. Our soup was delicious watermelon soup...wow so light and good. My husband got... More

Came here for the 14 euro breakfast which featured orange juice (large and cold) fresh fruit with yoghurt, generous serve of bread and a croissant with coffee. Service was good and our waitress spoke English. Coffee was nice and strong. Good location in a leafy little lane so it's off the beaten track. Food quality just average but there was... More
