Had our best lunch of the whole trip on our last day in Paris. I had creamed chickpea soup with mint pistou, and my colleague had stir fry chicken, followed by excellent passion fruit meringue, all washed down with our favourite Parisian drink - Spritz! Very reasonable, menu in English, and good location.

Food: sensational. Ever had smoked salmon with beet sorbet? Divine. Yummy cheese board with an excellent variety. Good wine list. Dessert option: chocolate soufflé, which was rather like a warm chocolate pudding inside the dome. Very rich. Negative: Cigarette smoke from the glassed-in "patio" eventually invaded the interior, not suitable for those allergic.

What a gem! We ate here our first night in Paris. We arrived without a reservation and were quickly seated. The staff was very friendly. The menu is limited but we enjoyed our choices. We had the BBQ pork and crispy chicken. We enjoyed a nice rose wine. Attentive service, great food and a nice atmosphere! Try this spot for... More

We wanted to eat here because our daughter had seen pasta on the menu. There were very few lunch items to select from. We liked the Lamb a Salad (with veal) and the chicken BBQ, but the pasta with smoked duck was too afield from main stream dining for two of us.

This first arrondissement location surprises with cozy atmosphere, friendly wait staff and delicious food. Started with lamb ravioli, followed by chicken breast perfectly done and cardamom scented polenta cakes. A pear grapefruit with sorbet dessert ended a lovely meal accompanied by a carafe of wine. First floor has a lovely jewel box front and tiny bar. Pat airs, accessed by... More

We popped into BAM bar after a hard days sightseeing - drawn in by the cool exterior decor, innovative but simple menu and the Parisians enjoying happy hour cocktails on the veranda. The swordfish carpaccio with dill and ginger sorbet was amazing. After seeing the enticing burger, we were unable to agree to share two different dishes, and both tucked... More

Loved the atmosphere and the staff was great! Didn't care for the soup I ordered, but that could have just been me. I ordered the pumpkin and ginger soup with coconut shavings. The taste wasn't to my liking, but I would definitely go back to try something else.

I loved the menu, the location, and the service. Our server, Thierry, was friendly and solicitous, making us feel well looked after. When a mentally ill man/ street person hovered and approached the diners outside, he was able to take care of the situation, making us feel safe. The food & drinks were great and it was nice hanging with... More

Had an hour to kill and had 2 Happy Hour Mojitos on the pavement terrace (very good) and €9.50 plate of mixed cheeses which was both exceptionally generous in quantity as well as varied in choice and very good value. Left happy.

Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day.
