Wonderful cozy French restaurant

This restaurant is one of the most memorable from our trip and we long to visit again. It is a small, cozy, friendly place with wonderful food. Everything we ordered was superb!

We've visited this restaurant a few times of the years to embrace its very Frenchness. Sadly the authenticity of it no longer out weighs the very tired decor and lack of joie de vive! Good French food and wine still served but the damp on the walls and Christmas decs still about in July need addressing. Sorry to say we... More

Very reasonable for the quality of this traditional excellent food. Many Price Fixed selections...If you are... More

The food was excellent. We had the beef stew and salmon steak. The french onion soup and the vegetable soup for appetizers. The service was excellent as well. The young man was patient and translated the menu multiple times. One of best meals in Paris.

This hidden gem is situated down a side road in montmatre. They offer delightful and traditional french cuisine. It is typically small inside and feels like you've gone round a relatives for dinner. Theduck confit was cooked to perfection and was very moist and delicious.

Look for this little restaurant hidden among the over priced tourist traps of Montmartre and you won't be disappointed. The place is small, very cosy and romantic. We went here for our last Parisian meal of our trip and couldn't have been more pleased. The place is so cute and friendly it was the perfect end to a great vacation.... More

Nice little place with character and really good food, in a very touristic area, thus very tricky area. Service was great despite there was only one person for the difficult task. However he was helpful, polite and sufficient. Food was great and I would recommend it, although a bit overpriced

Wandered in after trying to escape the really touristy places around Sacre Coeur. Very small and cramped but very intimate also. Service was good which was amazing since there were only 2 people working there. Only had salads which were fine but Leffe on draught was a bonus. Very cheap. Worth hunting it out if you are up in Montmatre.

I returned to this restaurant after 8 years!! I remembered great food and I could not wait to try it again. However, the food was very bad. We chose a menu and the onion soup was water and did not have any onions, it was tasteless. The steak was bad quality and the vegetables frozen. The sweet was decent, but... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
