Great food and wine

We didn't book a table, so were relieved when we were able to walk straight in without a wait. The waiter was friendly and attentive, as they didn't have the wine we wanted, so offered an alternative which was more expensive but for the same price as the cheaper one we originally wanted. Tasty vegetarian..a great surprise in Paris. The special of the day was a delicious spinach tarte accompanied by whole rice, best combination. The spinach was perfectly seasoned and to finish this 5 stars meal a lovely crumble: yummy!

Happily this place was only a couple of streets away from our hotel, and was very easy to find. We both had the set menu and were pleased with the choice on offer. The service was great, we were seated quickly even though the place was almost full and we had no reservation. The food was sent out in good... More

Vegan for years but in Paris for the first time. My wife and I had just completed our Louvre excursion and strolled to Saveurs VegetHalles for lunch. We were greeted by very friendly staff and we saw that the menu was in both French and English. Menu items are clearly labeled vegan and not, which makes choosing and ordering a... More

This restaurant is like a vegan & vegetarian family restaurant for me because they have very different kinds of food! I like to have a hamburger and desserts especially. They sometimes change the interior decoration, and recently it seemed they changed lighting. I don't like the LED bluish light though because the food doesn't look good and the atmosphere looks... Despite all the hype about gourmet French cooking, most French chefs have still really not learned to cook for vegetarians. It is always a disappointment when a much talked-up French restaurant has, as its only vegetarian offering, a plate of sautéed vegetables with a bit of salt and a few herbs, inevitably at an exorbitant price. In contrast, it was... More

Great! Good food, good place. Not the cheapest place you can find but I really enjoyed the meal. Vegan options available

My boyfriend and I ate here twice during our short visit to Paris. Even though we are not vegans, we enjoyed the soy burger so much we had it twice. The salads are huge and delicious and the prices are great! The service was good, but we do suggest the restaurant hangs some nice lights, the decoration is really cool... More

Myself and my boyfriend booked this restaurant online for our trip to Paris over the Valentines weekend, we booked thinking it would be busy and we were right! We had real trouble getting lost and ended up turning up an hour late and soaking wet through, but they still let us in even though it was 10pm and the service... More

This nice restaurant serves nice veggie/vegan at a good price/quality (5 to 10 euros for a starter and for desserts and 15 to 20 euros for the main dish or 17 euros for a menu). But the portions are quite good, so for most people a main dish without starter would do. Unlike most vegetarian resetaurants this one has a... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
