We were there with friends and chose it on Web recommendations for eating cheaply in Paris. It was, in fact, one of the more expensive places, but that did have something to do with what we chose. I had octopus salad as a starter and lamb shank for my main course. I have never had such tender octopus, not a... More

We went on an end of July sunday night, no reservation but waiting time for the garden was around 30 minutes. The garden is lovely, especially for Paris where is so difficult to find green places and terraces. Food was good, classic bistrot, we shared a platter of bait fish and then we had tuna with thai salad (really nice).... More

We were told about this by a friend who's a local. We certainly wouldnt have ventured in otherwise. Well worth a visit though. The drinks were more reasonable than we've become accustomed to in Paris. The menu was mainly fish but my beef was fantastic. They dealt with our English and our Gluten free request with ease. We enjoyed the... More

I've been here a couple of times over the last few years. I just went again in June. The atmosphere and decor is my favorite part. The food is good, but not amazing. There are very few tourists which is also a plus. I recommend this place! Check it out!

Dined here twice since it's a short stumble up the stairs to our hotel. The food is very good for a decent price. We had the beef tartare, lamb shoulder with seasonal vegetables, hangar steak with bone marrow and salad, and an excellent molten chocolate cake that was to die for with a side of sour cream sorbet. The wine... More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a few guide books so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately it did not live up to our expectations. We were given an English menu and placed our order from it. About ten minutes later the waiter returned to advise that the English menu was out of date and the items we... More

Easy to feel at home at Bistro des Dames; where I received kind and attentive service and a spot-on wine recommendation, even though they were quite busy. I ordered from the menu which was good but not great; next time I'll order from the specials as I got the feeling that's the way to go. Will definitely make this one... More

The Bistrôt des Dames is situated next to the Eldorado Hotel in Paris, in the lively neighbourhood of Rue des Dames, with many other restaurants and bars around, and seems to work in colaboration with the hotel: there you have the hotel's continental breakfast in the morning. But more important, the Bistrôt is an excellent place for eating: we had... More
