I have been to this place three times, and finally have promised to myself never to go back. The staff makes a point of being stereotypically rude, and food is nothing special. I am pretty sure all is prepared in advance and nuked, but I didn't bother asking as I was not planning to go back. It is a shame... More

I almost didn't write a review of this place as I don't want it to get too popular and spoilt, as has happened with the La Fontaine de Mars. Anyway, this little bistro tucked away in the 15th is wonderful. Fantastic dishes with hearty sauces, wonderful homemade pate and a wine list that has to be the best value in... More

In the 15th Arrr after attending a funeral, and far from the normal tourist beat, we stumbled on an excellent value for money example of fine French Provincial Bistro food originating from Cantal/ Massif Central. The host Jean Louis Piqueronies and his son Andre, provided us with advice as to our choice of menu. The entre of mussles and baby... More

A fine small neighborhood bistro you might expect Maigret to patronize. We've dined there twice. Food is flavorful, servings large – my wife and I can share one entre, one main course, and one dessert and were quite satisfied. Excellent value for money. Homey, simple wood tables. Service quirky, the waitress seemed marginally trained but vif.
