Bad food, made worse by bad service.

We were originally suppose to go to an Ethiopian restaurant down the street that I've been to several times, but they were closed. So, we searched for a restaurant close by. This bistro looked interesting so we entered. It took forever to get served. We were 4-people. 3 of us ordered a salad and... read more

Very picturesque bistro. Food was among the worst I have eaten in Paris during the past 3 years. Of my 3 friends' meals, one was okay, two were bad also . The service was VERY slow and inattentive. I would never, ever return.

We bumped randomly into this place and we just loved it! The atmosphere is so decadent and boho-chic. The waiters are kind and hospitable for being Parisians, although their English is pretty poor: I am allergic to spices and I asked a young waitress if the specialty I meant to order had any in it (the name might have suggested... Staff is good and they had the wifi and good food I needed. I got their breakfast "anglais" and it was pretty huge!

Had dinner here at the terrace by a beautiful summer evening in August. Ordered a mediterranean plate with lots of greek specialties. Neither bad nor very good. Average I would say. Nice wine. Polite service. Nothing to rave about.

My husband and I fell in love with the way this place looks from the outside. It seemed hip and funky, with good music. Then we were robbed by the staff, and laugh at for being Spaniards. We ordered the cheapest beer and the waiter served us the most expensive one because he wanted to. When the bill came, we... More

Beautiful little cafe in Belleville. Prices are a bit expensive, but it is justified by the ambiance of the cafe and the wonderful food. Stylish spot!

I was in Paris a few days visiting a friend and we went here for beer and dinner. It was really cute, especially inside, and attracted a young funky crowd. I appreciated the vegetarian fare on the menu. There were 3 vegetarian platters of which we tried the more middle eastern Mediterranean one (falafel, hoummous, tzaziki, grape leaf, etc.). We... First of all, this place is not primarily for eating, but for drinking and being seen, especially on weekends. Perched on the edge of Oberkampf in the 11the arrondissement, it's a favorite haunt of the young and the chronically hip. But I was hungry, so I ordered the formule at a reasonable 20 euros, which included entrée + plat. The... More

A quite typical "rive droite" café, in a pleasant street, with average quality food. A nice place to sit and chat with friends- especially outdoor-, without counting too much on the quality of food and drinks, although the place pretends to be too fancy with respect to what it offers. Meat dishes are not very satisfying, given that we're in... More
