As I've written in my other review of another little place down the road, my family has lived in this wonderful neighbourhood since 1942 in the same flat.We now all meet up there as we live in London, Montreal and Biscarrosse.La Fee is another cute and quirky place that if it was in London would be terribly expensive and probably... I like La Fe Verte, although I have not yet tried the absinthe. I go there for drinks and lunch or dinner. The food is decent and not too expensive. I like their burgers they are good for Paris. Just avoid the one with the cheese sauce. French people think cheese slices are real cheddar… ugh!

My husband and I went to this cafe as a recommendation from a French friend. Apparently it is famous for the variety of absinthe they offer. We got there, and of course we ordered two absinthe. I loved the ritual of preparing it. The spoon it is used, the cube of sugar melting as each drop of iced water goes... More

I first noticed this place when occasionally passing by, it attracted me with live music - some band was playing there and I don't know, was it spontaneous or by programm. But it was amazing. On another day I came back with friends to have lunch but we hardly find anything vegetarian there and also food was quite expensive comparing... More

This is a neighbour hood restaurant for the Voltaire area and I regularly eat there. Service has dis-improved in the past 6 months and the food is always a little hit and miss. I had a great salad here on my last visit, it was fresh & generous and something worth going back for. My companions meal of steak and... More

I went primarily to try absinthe. From the long list I couldn't figure which one to drink and the waitress helped me to choose a traditional style drink. The apparatus was nifty. The absinthe in the glass, a spoon with cube of sugar poised on top and then the water container with 4 spigots with which to drop water onto... More

this has been the worst place i have ever been in Paris. Waitress took 20 min to come to our table because she was talking to other people showing them mobile text or whatever else and having a laugh outside. She was wearing a leather bag and a fashion scarf, acting like a diva to the customers. She was very... More

i have no idea were do people find “Great food and atmosphere” in this place I live very close to this place however, food i average, place look average, the great atmosphere is maybe done by the stuck-up waitresses ?? I went there in the afternoon, for a business meeting, almost no people had to wait 20 minutes for the... More

Had to try given I had just bought a bottle of cannabis absinthe in Barcelona - the appereil was chic - only went with a burger afterwards but it was very good - staff was very friendly and helpful - recommend for anyone wanting something out of the ordinary.

Using our Paris Guide Books recommendations we hunted out the Green Fairy. Its locale was nice, away from the main sight seeing areas but still within the Marais and accessible for post dinner activities. The decor was very French cafe/bistro which was lovely. It was reasonably full when we arrived but got a table no problem. I had the lamb... More
