Good food for Great Price

I guess the best way to describe the location of this place is inside an walk way/atrium. I was actually in the mood for Pho, which is not available here. However we ordered some stuff crab and some crepes like item, both were delicious. My GF and I both had the same noodle entree that with beef... read more

A gem located down a quaint Parisian alley, Chez Duc didn't disappoint. Firstly, great food - traditional Vietnamese flavours and perfect portion size. We loved the entrées and main so much, we just had to order dessert, even though we were in a hurry to see a theatre show nearby. The service was fantastic and our food was quickly served... More

Had a meal here with my husband during an anniversary trip to Paris. We both had the sampling menu where we were given 3 types of starter and main course each at a cost of 28 euros each. Compared with other fixed price menus at restaurants around the Opera area, seemed like a good price to us. The food was... More

The only good thing i can say about this restaurant is the price! It's a cheap restaurant so their food. Service is slow also. Simply, don't go there.

Chez Duc was an EXCELLENT restaurant. The food was delicious and the service kind and fast. We have been eating Vietnamese food for some years: it combines the complexity of French cuisine, the touch of Italian cuisine and the fantasy of the Orient. And Chez Duc delivered on all accounts. The fried Spring Rolls were light and full of flavor;... More

We had the gastronomic menu -- chef's choice -- to see them at their best. It was poor: bland, tepid and ordinary. I had better Vietnamese in Asia, Africa, Asia, and North America. The prawns on a sugar cane skewer sounded good but was a gelatinous mess. The prawns had been minced and were served lukewarm. Ironically I had better... More

After spending a few weeks in Paris we were craving some food with a little spice, and luckily we found Chez Duc from reviews on Trip Advisor. It's a lovely little place in a beautiful arcade, not at all hard to find. The hosts made us feel so welcome, it was almost like we were dining in their home. They... More

My wife and I just had dinner at the charming little restaurant. We started with the fried spring rolls and the steamed fresh rolls. The fried rolls were hot with a crispy skin but a juicy and tasty interior. The steamed rolls were like the raw cold spring rolls you've had in other Vietnamese restaurants, except that here, they were... More

A really good Vietnamese restaurant with specialities from both Vietnam and France. The owners take the orders personally and are very friendly. The food is delicious but rather expensive.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
