Description: The Bistrot 31 or the B31 as it is known locally is centrally located near the Eiffel Tower in the 16th arrondissement in Paris. This is an elegant and modern Parisian bistro with a laidback and jovial atmosphere. The menu is eclectic with a selection if French and Italian inspired dishes. Don't hesitate to try the daily specials or the surprises offered by David and Pascal the owner managers, pasta with truffles, foie gras, seafood or whatever is inspiring at the daily market, a great selection of high quality meat and fish dishes and an extensive wine list. To sum up B31 is thoroughly pleasant and reasonably priced dining experience.

Wanted to eat good dinners in Paris, although sadly, was on my own much of the time. My traveling companion was kept state side by a sudden death in her family. Any sole diner represents a lower profit margin for a restaurant. To say nothing of the social awkwardness for the diner herself. Not much fun to go into a... More

Not super-near the Metro, this place is worth a walk through the neighborhood in the 16th Arr. The place is quiet early in the evening (~8pm) but quickly fills up & gets quite lively. Service isn't rushed, so you can relax and enjoy the delicious food. I HIGHLY recommend the foie gras, which I am still dreaming about a week... More

we arrived in paris and were too early to check into our B&B so we wondered the area and feeling a little hungry thought we would give it a try, it was only just 12 so empty. We both had perfectly rare yummy steak hunk, nice salty frites and a bottle of red (hey it was holiday!) all very nice,... More

Bistro 31 has become our home away from home. We found this wonderful bistro shortly after moving to Paris from the U.S. We left our family and friends back home but have found a new family with David and everyone who works there. The food is always delicious and we look forward to trying the daily specials. We have brought... More

I have been to the Bistro 31 several times. The restaurant is very cosy and well decorated. They serve mostly French cuisine but you can also have a burger if you like. The food is correct but I have not been majorly impressed the last few times I went there. The prices are quite high but it is a great... More

I went to this restaurant twice. The first time was a good experience, I ordered a mushroom pasta dish and enjoyed it very much. The second time I ordered the same dish and surprisingly, the sauce was completely different. An orange colored indescribable tasting sauce had replaced the mushroom and cream sauce I remembered. I explained this to the manager... More

Our Parisian friends took us here and it's one of those local treasures where the waitstaff knows and jokes with the regulars. Food here is amazing, had the specials of the day, smoked salmon and ravioli de cepe which were perfectly executed. We had two bottles and several drinks too many, so the bill came up to about 50 euros... More

We stumbled across this place by accident and managed to book a table for a Friday night. I have to say that it was the best meal we have had in a very long time. Food is an italian twist of French The restaurant is in a residential area away from the centre of Paris and the staff spoke little... More
