It's all about the sauce!

We went for lunch and even though it was busy, we were seated quickly. We ordered the Formula, and house red. The salad came quickly, and I was amazed to see a plate of chopped iceberg lettuce smothered in a sickly Heinz salad cream dressing with some chopped walnuts on the top. Bizarre. If you are having a quick lunch this is the place! the menu is not full of many options, the foie gras pate is even OK. You must have 2 things and 2 things only: The DELICIOUS salad you get served at the beginning of ordering the sliced filet, AND THE FILET. The sauce is OUT OF THIS WORLD, perfectly... More

Went here with the family for lunch, we had a lovely set meal, the choices were very limited but many Parisians were dining having the Plat DumJour which was excellent. Our other meals were very good indeed, not cheap but the service was ok, a busy little place indeed. no frills but ok for lunch.

Spend few days in Paris and decided to try this place as our concierge recommend to us. Don't be afraid with the long queue! Took the set menu I mean the waitress gave us the set menu! No time to choice! Anyway meal was ok but nothing special! Paris prices as usual very high. Average experience.

After having eaten 'la formula' (it consists of salad, beafsteak, french fries et sauce) in the restaurant with my boyfriend, we both were vomiting and had diarrhea during couple of hours afterwards! The restaurant is not cheap and in plus we got food poisining. The service was poor and the guy was dirty (brownish teeth and very tired eyes).

This place i s a mimic of the famous Le Relais de L'entrecote. The service was bad and the food was less then ok. small steak (supposedly 180gr) for too much (exactly 22.60 euros). Don't be confused with the original!

this restaurant was recommended to us by a local resident and beat expectations. It was worth the walk to get there. Food is kept warm with a double candle burner. Staff work very hard, are friendly and the food is well presented and tasty without being expensive. Just off the Champs-élysées on your right going down hill near the bottom.

I loved the meat, the fries and especially the sauce (and abundance of it). The formula provides a salad as well and they have a kids formula also. Not only good but also affordable, especially where it is located in Paris (almost at Champs Elysee, very close to Arc de Triomphe. Would definitely go back (as I did during my... More

Price-Not the cheapest, but I didn't feel like I was taken. Food and service-I have been here several times. I have never been disappointed. I recommend this restaurant to my friends and colleagues without hesitation. Is it haute cuisine - Non. That said I will continue to go and recommend it. Contrary to some of the other writers I enjoyed... More
