Chez Gladines Or Gladines has a series of restaurants today in Paris. It serves Basque food from the south of France with serious quantities and acceptable prices. One of my favorite restaurants in Paris and my favorite Gladines is the one in Rue cinq diamantes near Place d'Italy. Highly recommended.

After reading the reviews of this restaurant and everybody raving about the meat and potatoes smothered in cheese, myself and my girlfriend decided to go and check it out. We arrived at around 9 and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated. We had the Veal with ham and cheese (16 euros) on their menu it has a... More

Wide selection of basque dishes. Large portions and averages prices. I really liked the chicken and the cheese. The staff was friendly

This place is a very affordable restaurant with very properly cooked food. I wouldn't say that the dishes are light; I recommend a light lunch before approaching Chez Gladines, especially for the "L’escalope de veau montagnarde" which is a must if you go here for the first time. Desserts are very tasty and good as well. Price is great, but... More

We had a great evening here, atmosphere is fun and loud, food is a lot, delicious and not expensive at all. When you see locals waiting in line outside to get a table it is always a good sign.

It's an unassuming place, with simple tables and chairs, checkered tablecoths and tiny little bar to one side. They do have outdoor seating as well. The Poulet Basquaise was awesome, and the wines were inexpensive and quite good. We had an excellent and reasonably priced meal there.

We had a fantastic evening here - tasting different wines and we ordered the cured ham starter - which surprised us as it arrived with generous amounts of bread, gherkin and chilli! For mains we shared two plates - generous portions and extremely tasty. The duck and cep was tops! Oh and the service was great - such a relaxed... More

I went to this busy Paris restaurant near the Place d'Italie three times, once by myself, once with my daughter, and once with my sister and her family. All three times, this place was packed, and we have to wait for our turn. The cuisine is basque, the portion is generous, the price is very reasonable. It's not one of... More
