Delicious food, poor service.

This restaurant was recommended by my friends, very very busy restaurant, I need to wait for nearly 1 hour to have a seat in this restaurant, they don't accept reservation via telephone, just come there ask for the table and they will call your name later. Food is so amazing, cheap, tasty salad... read more

The food was good considering it was for a group of students paying a group rate through a student tour. The best part was dessert, a very good apple tarte. Service was fast and efficient.

we followed the waiter's suggestion with Basque specialties and weren't disappointed; the place was completely and constantly packed on a Saturday evening but we were quickly seated. Simple service but good, hearty food and great value for money. Must try!

I visited Paris in February with my family including 2 teenagers who were keen to pracitse their french. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local french man so obviously we tried it. We were so pleased on so many levels that we ate here 3 nights out of the four that we stayed in Paris! The food was... More

Chez Gladines serves traditional Basques cuisine! I tried the chicken with rice and vegetables and it was delicious! The service and the prices were good, too. I'll definitely be back.

Darkness had covered La Ville Lumière when our train arrived to Gare du Nord and a taxi dropped us into our rental apartment in Rue Faidherbe. Quick shower to wash off our London coats and hit the street to buy a bottle of wine but they offered us a table just before eleven. Sitting in Chez Gladines feels like sitting... More

Chez Gladines was a recommendation from a local. Was spot on. Great food, excellent service, fun atmosphere (tip: arrive early, the place got crowded at 9 PM). Duck Rillettes, Veal and beer, all very good for the price.

This lovely restaurant serves basque cuisine! The menu is not expensive at all, very good value for money if you are hungry and not wanting to spend a fortune! Perfect if you are a group of people but not if you want to impress your girlfriend on the first date! We always go back wen in Paris. Try the apple... More
