Simple French diner experience. Waiter accommodating of our poor French. Atmosphere is friendly but not advised for a romantic meal. Meals are of generous portions and cooked very fresh. Offers a variety of interesting French cuisine.

Excellent food with typical french plates. It's absolutely a bistrot to stop, to seat and to eat the delicious plates that offers. I take "... de Montagnarde" (pork meat, ham, potatoes, cheese, mushrooms), wou!! Really a goodness! Salads too are excellent, very rich and full of foods. The staff is very charming, pleasant, friendly and kind. A great experience, I... More

Very good food, different, unique, high quality and quantity, inexpensive! Small place, you have to share the table, but it's fun, always full of people!

I was scheduled here with a large group, and my experience was awful. They has grouped another big group after us, so they were rushing my group to finish in time. I had ordered a vegetarian meal, which took longer for them to prepare and deliver it to myself. By this time, I had between 5-10 min before they made... More

We ate here based on trip advisor reviews, and the reviews are accurate, this place is delicious! I had the cod in carrot cream sauce, my partner had a foie gras omelet and our child had the potatoes with ham and cheese, which is a very large portion. The salads coming out of the kitchen also looked great, and all... More

Decently priced french style restaurant, tasty food. Very fast but not extremely polite service. Very good value on wine.

My family had had a couple of bad experiences with dining in Paris. This little and cosy restaurant certainly surprised us! Prices are affordable and there is a certain variety of dishes for a reasonable price. They serve everything with home-made potatoes and salad, and their salad combinations are quite delicious. Not overpriced at all for Paris. The service is... More

Chez Gladines serves food from the Basque area of France. It was a nice change from traditional French dishes for our last meal in Paris, kind of a mix of Spanish and French. I had cod stuffed peppers in a carrot cream sauce, which was really unique and so tasty. My husband had roasted duck breast with salad and potatoes,... More

This place has now moved to 44 Boulevard Saint-Germain. We had a great meal there...excellent snails w Roquefort, v large chicken liver salad, and the selection of cold cuts and cheese ("complete"). Everything great and fun and fairly cheap. But be prepared for very cramped quarters...small tables...packed restaurant. Fun but maybe not for everyone!

I visited Chez Gladines years ago in different location and wanted to go again. Food is great and service is nice. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. You should definitely try the veal and the basque cake, yummy!
