Kitchen got our order wrong. Overcooked food. Mainly tourists. Nuff said. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong dishes...

We were taken here by my Parisian cousins so I knew the food had to be good. The fare is rustic and generous, but it is done well. I had the duck confit and chocolate cake, both of which were delicious. With wine expect about €30 per head.

The location of the restaurant is good, the place is quite basic and there are few seats. It is not possible to book and at 8:30 pm the restaurant is already full. So the advice is to go there quite early at around 7:00 pm. The food is above average quality and the price is really reasonable, the customers are... More

Very excellent local cuisine. I had Basque chicken. My adult daughter had duck confit. Boisterous conversation, energized waitstaff. Menus in French or English. The outdoor seating was quite popular. We sat inside by the wide open windows. We are feeling energized after a beautiful day in the sunshine.

When I found that place on Tripadvisor, before our stay in Paris, I put it on my "must to do" list. So we got here on our last day for a lunch only. But still it was a really nice dining experience. With delicious food, big portions, nice service, and great location, with tables outside. We both had a Complete... More

Very popular with the locals, the food is outstanding, big portions, very tasty, quick service and intimate. Usually has people waiting outside for tables so arrive before peak hours. I tried the Escalope de Veau (veal with creamy mushroom sauce and gratin potatoes), best meal I've ever had anywhere.

I remember reading about this on trip advisor before I visited/had a feel for Paris. The second time we visited Paris we found ourself in this area and I noticed the name and suggested it because I heard good reviews. The food is unique and definitely worth trying. The restaurant is loud and you might wait awhile to be seated/served... More

This restaurant is a great pick if you want more of a local place away from all the touristy bistros near Notre Dame. The place was packed (almost every other table were locals) when we went in for a weekday lunch. The fare is very diverse here, but they do it all well. They serve up omelets, salads, fish, cheese,... More

Lots of hustle bustle and energy at this popular spot on Boulevard St Germain. There was a crowd outside waiting to get in when we went by on Sunday afternoon, so we went back the following evening to investigate. The food is very hearty, and features Basque specialities, so it might not appeal to everyone. The emphasis is on meats,... More

Went on the approval of reviews but always a bit cautions. Fortunately, this restaurant lived up to their reviews. Great food, atmosphere and service - what more do you need! We asked questions about the menu, and even thou they were very busy, they didn't mind helping us. I did however seem to order the wrong meal but they straight... More
