We ate out 3 times in Paris and tried to vary it up between types of restaurants; a run of the mill, a bistro and a famous one. This bistro came out on top by a fair old bit. The lady who owns this knew limited English and her helper who knew English hadn't arrived when we turned up early... More

The decor was charming, if slightly eccentric and the staff equally charming. The food was slightly mixed with the cod and the sea bass served with the same gloopy pepper sauce and definitely mediocre. The house wine and chocolate mousse, however, were delicious.

We were walking down the street looking for a place to eat after our wine and cheese session at O'Chateau and we stumbled upon Le Gros Minet where we were greeted by two lovely ladies. Because we were rather full, we asked to share our dishes and they were fine with that. The kitchen even cut/split the fillet of beef... More

Authentic small Parisian Bistro with its very own personal atmosphere. One of my favorite Restaurants in Paris - very traditional French cuisine with a large choice of typical meat and fish main courses, various starters and desserts. My all time favorites are: hareng et ces pommes tièdes – the herring with warm potatoes ( starter) confit de canard - the... More

2 stones in salad. Can happen... Almost broke my teeth. The Resturant still charge us for the salad. The Resturant gave us shenaps drinks at the end of the meal. The place does not look clean. Food was ok. We do not recommend. There are many other better places in Paris. I have nothing else to add. Paris is great.... More

Comparatively unspoilt. Very hospitable and friendly. Good value early evening supper. Would come back. Heavy tourist zone but most customers seemed to be regular locals.

....it's the inside that counts. Very quaint Parisian restaurant with good service, fresh and plentiful food and a warm welcome - including with children. Just what you would want from a visit to Paris.

Decent food well priced. Very cramped. The tables in the front room are an inch apart so be prepared to make new friends. Nice staff with limited English but enough to get by. Not romantic.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a Wednesday evening and were greeted at the door by 2 ladies working front of house. I apologised for not speaking French very well but we all had a laugh as they both read out the menu to us trying to meet somewhere in the middle so we all understood what each other were... More

Like the old days of Paris, this is a great little find. Hearty, tasty traditional French dishes. Liver, duck, crème brulee, good wine, nice service. A no frills, charming little restaurant which is a lovely haven from the insanity that can be Parisien streets. We would go again next time we visit this amazing city.
