Amazing food and amazing customer service

Visited here twice while on a 3 day trip to Paris, we spoke no French yet the waiter ran through the whole menu for us. Food was very nice, had the steak which was very good. Waiter was probably the best I have had in a restaurant, very attentive and friendly, his name was Laudl (Perhaps spelt... read more

The really good thing about Le 14 juillet is that it's at some distance from the tourist center of Paris - it only attracts tourists who really want to go there, and about 3/4 of the clientele are still locals. Still, it more than merits its excellent rating on Tripadvisor. Despite being here since before the second World War, today... More

A cool, low key place deep in the 14th close to Porte De Vanves! The waiters were attentive and charming! We loved our delicious steak, duck and lamb dishes!! And that Profiterole ... OMG .. When he brought the pot of melted chocolate .. Whoa .. We devoured that!! A great night out and one of our best meals/experiences in... More

Having read the numerous good reviews, I was really looking forward to a very enjoyable meal here. Sadly for my wife and I, we were both disappointed with what we had to eat. Having said that, the restaurant was packed with locals and therefore perhaps the problem may have been with our palates. I had the rumpsteak (coeur de romsteck)... More

To end our first full day in Paris, my wife and I headed to Le 14 Juliet at 99 Rue Didot in the 14th Arrondisement for dinner. Our hotel was just a short walk away, and we had been at the restaurant 15 years earlier. I still remembered what I ate back then. I am glad that we returned. The... More

We were there for dinner. Dinner was good but dessert was the best! if you are there you should save a big space in your stomach for profiterol because it's so big and very tasty...

Pass by this little typical french resto every day. It looks inviting and always busy busy busy. Could not resist and took a friend there for a lunch in the middle of the week. We took lunch menu sets of main+dessert for 15eur. Overall, the meal did not live to my expectations. The food was bland and oversimplified to the... More

On a Sunday in December of 2012 we ventured to the 14th Arrondissement to go to an outdoor market and decided to walk back to the center of town. On the way back we got hungry and came across a corner restaurant, peeked in the window and saw that it was completely full with not another tourist in sight so... More

We visited the restaurant during a visit with the familiy. The restaurant seems very original french and the waiters did everything to help us getting the menu translated into English. The food was very fresh and tasted very nice, though the servings were small and not so well presented. We can recommend to visit this place.
