One of my favourite lively tapas bars / restaurants in Paris. Expect a young crowd, lots of energy and buzzy chatter, efficient service and tasty tapas! I cannot fault any of the tapas but my favourites remain Les Chaudes (warm tapas). Try the petite paella, the ratatouille with ham, the calamari, and the chorizo a la sidra. They also have... More

This was another restaurant we came across by chance. Initially we wanted to have lunch at another neighborhood restaurant but couldn't get in without waiting 45 minutes. Voila. Les Pietons to the rescue! It was also crowded but we found a table in the back dining room. The nice ambiance was soon bested by the tasty tapas & sangria. We... More

I was impressed by quantity and quality of the food/tapas served there; the portions are generous, and the price of the set lunch menu it is more that favorable. Service was good and fast, and decoration is similar to what you will see in the south of Spain. I will go back!!

Came by for dinner with friends. Enjoyed their sangria, tapas, and music. The staff are all sweet boys and the customers are chill people to chat with. The location is also great, lots of bars and young people having a good time.

I went to this restaurant with a friend of mine and it was just ok. The food was good and the atmosphere was fine too, but that night the restaurant was packed and I could hear anything fro what my friend was telling me. We were just both shouting at each other across the table and left straight after we... More

I would not recommand this place to anyone. The food is really bad, the sangria quite common ,but most of all, be careful of thiefs ! I have to say, that after my friend and I have been robbed, the waiters had a really strange attitude. One of them makes us notice that ours bags were gone.. He said that... More

This is somewhat shabby but quite pleasant small tapas restaurant. Amongst other dishes we had the calamares, the champignons and the tortilla espanola. We really enjoyed the mushrooms, but did not particularly take to anything else. The sangria was very pleasant, and the service was excellent. Prices were very reasonable.

I really wanted to like this place and I liked the vibe and warmth of it (although the waiters seemed very flustered), but the food was straight up bland. The paella Valenciana wasn't really Valenciana and it was quite tasteless. The tapas were alright and did not taste incredibly fresh. I'd say the highlight was the dessert (I had the... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
